The food was great, I knew it must be good when we arrived at 11:30 the parking lot was packed!

Service was very friendly. Good hole in the wall barbecue restaurant feel, with good atmosphere. Brisket was quite good and so was the Mac & cheese. Ribs were sub par - tough and not much flavor aside from the sauce. Green beans were good but nothing to write home about. Plenty of space and tables for large groups if needed.

Based on the reviews, Central Texas Bar-B-Q is a lunch-only BBQ spot with a friendly and polite staff. The food is excellent, hot, and tasty. The brisket was great, and the jalapeño sausage is just as good. The pork ribs were good, and the bread pudding was the best ever. The two meat and two side lunch platter with a drink is just under 20 bucks. The tater salad was very good. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is fast, even during a busy Friday lunch rush. There is no wait time. The restaurant has unsweet and sweet tea. However, on one visit, the brisket was a little dry with very little smoke ring, and the beans were undercooked and grainy.
