My cousin and I had a meal here today and it was awesome. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The staff was very courteous and checked in on us often. I will definitely be back when I come back to the Houston area.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this place. Comfort Foodies lives up to its name. Every bite brought me back to familiar flavors from home. The oxtails were tender and full of flavor, the empanadas had the perfect crunch, and every side was seasoned to perfection. You can taste the love in every dish. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the space felt inviting. This is my new go-to spot for Dominican food. Highly recommend.

When I tell you Comfort Foodies did NOT come to play… whew! The oxtails? Fall-off-the-bone tender. The oxtail empanadas? To. Die. For. Seasoned perfectly, like somebody’s aunty was in the kitchen. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and gave exactly what it was supposed to give. Trust me, once you try it, you’ll be hooked. I’m already plotting my next order.
