Big thanks to everyone at Cooking Girls in Montrose for the amazing service! I had no idea about this place until my ex-girlfriend suggested I try it, and I’m so glad she did. The food was outstanding absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was perfect and cooked to perfection.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the drinks are awesome too. The whole experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food with top-notch service, this is definitely the place to be!

If the parking lot is full there's usually street parking. Food is always fantastic, my go to is the orange beef but I ask for it spicy. 🤭

One of my Houston favorites. We've been coming here for more than a year and leave satisfied every time. Delicious food and amazing service. Parking can be a bit of an annoyance but it is so worth it!

My fiance and I went to dinner here and we were commenting on the prices but once the food came out...the food was so worth the price. So freaking good. And the ladies working there were super nice and sweet. I asked my fiance why this place wasn't packed with people because the food is seriously so delicious. Please, go eat at Cooking Girl, u won't be disappointed! And FYI, I had the salt and pepper shrimp...sooooo good!

I went for the first time to this Restaurant on Sunday around 8pm. It was full since it’s a small place. We didn’t wait long to get a table. The food came pretty quick I was amazed at that. The atmosphere was perfect because it was quiet and you could really talk and enjoy your mean. I was very impressed by the flavor or the food and the presentation. It tasted really good. I will definitely be coming back to eat there again.

I had the wonton soup and Mapo Tofu. The wonton soup was great! It made re theink all the times I had wonton soup from a styrofoam cup. Mapo Tofu, a bit salty, had nice spice.

This place rules. Ate here in a booth by myself on a whim. Nice atmosphere and the food was great. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m around town.

The Montrose location of Cooking Girl is by far the best location. Their xiao long bao is the best I have ever had, it has flavors that are unmatched by other soup dumplings. The Mongolian Chicken, wonton soup, house friend rice, etc. are all the best representation of each dish that I have had in a long time. It has become a regular stop in our lunch rotation, and will continue to be. The only downside is the lack of parking, but that's Montrose for you.
