The winter wonderland lights were not worth the money in my opinion. There’s no way it was 5 acres. Not worth the time in my opinion.
the fireworks celebrations are a scam. view of the fireworks is blocked by buildings and billboards.
After inviting a couple of friends to enjoy different foods from at least 5 of the restaurants, I was absolutely blindsided by the $40/hr after 3 hours. To spend $200 plus at an establishment, then get ready to leave and realize that for 3 vehicles on a Monday afternoon it costs $120, Im flabbergasted!! Will not be returning. What a way to ruin a day.
$5 an hour for parking is reasonable. Tiny print at the bottom of the sign saying 3 hours or more is a full day is deceptive, unreasonable and ridiculous. We will never come back.
The original crazy Cajun was much better than this.

Paid $20/person for tickets + $35 parking for the Fourth of July fireworks show. HORRIBLE view of the fireworks. They didn’t set off their own fireworks and we had a terrible obstructed view of the fireworks from freedom over Texas but those were being fired off BLOCKS away. Go on a normal day if you want lots of good food options and good atmosphere. BUT…NYE and Fourth of July? Save yourself the headache of the poorly organized and crappy party.
This place springs a 20% Gratuity Fee on you after you're done eating. The amount of people they have robbed here cannot be overstated here. Some businesses deserve to fail and this is one of them. If you can't pay your workers a reasonable wage without forced tips, you shouldn't be in business. They could just increase their food prices, and they'd get the same money without the robbery, but instead they want to force you into a situation where the correct decision is to dine and dash.
Nobody wants to steal, but it's far better than being stolen from.

Always a good time. Lots of activities and a great view of the city!
There was a bit of a language barrier ordering food. I had multiple pounds of crawfish and gumbo. The crawfish were the best I have had all season. Very good. I was excited about the gumbo, however, it was just good. Will I order it again? Maybe a small portion of it. The staff were very friendly even in busy situations.
Update 4/8/25- So I went back to get more food and they were gone. Like the stall they were in was completely empty and the cage was shut. This was on a Saturday evening.

I came here based on the reviews, but the food did not meet my expectations. This is supposed to be a Cajun restaurant but the “Crazy Cajun” menu item had no flavor. I come from Houston where there is an abundance of authentic Cajun restaurants. The seafood at Crazy Cajun was over steamed or boiled. The shrimp did not taste fresh. For $21.95 per person the amount of seafood vs overwhelming amount of corn/potatoe/sausage was not worth the price. The only positive I have to say about this place is the service. Our server was great and attentive.

The first time I had Cajun, it was a bit spicy, but delicious. The owner is really nice and friendly to explain the dish to me.

We spent over 50.00 at this restaurant and it was boiled crawfish and shrimps and they gave us 5 napkins and when we asked for more they had attitudes. A total waste of money and time .. I give it 5 thumbs down ?
