Atmosphere was good. Server kept coming back wreaking of weed. Little on the expensive side ($25 for meatloaf). Over all it was OK.

UPDATE: I had the opportunity to return here for my Mom's birthday. Our waitperson was Jay. She made us aware that they were under new ownership and for that reason they could not honor the free appetizer coupon my Mom had received on our last visit. I asked Jay to please make an appeal to management on our behalf and let them know we also have a birthday lady in the house! They declined to honor the coupon which was a little disappointing.

The food was delicious however I went for the first time on Mother's day and it was extremely busy so the service was not the best. I will definitely be going back and hopefully will be able to add that 5th star! Still would recommend to friends and family.

Dined here for first time with my parents. The food is just OK. Nothing spectacular and no match by means for the food quality and their cost. My dad and I ordered the French Toast Sliders and my mom ordered the CK Breakfast. I ordered a coffee and dad a Coke. Mom had water. It cost us $97.21. That is RIDICULOUS!!!! ALERT: This restaurant included a Service Charge (18%) of $13.86 for a party of THREE PEOPLE!!! So, I left a zero tip!!! You better believe it. We would have left a better tip, but if you choose to take out a tip for a party of three, that is your tip! We will not return.

Stacy was a freaking super hero. We had two previous waiters that were too busy for our tables. We went 45 minutes without receiving a drink or anything. Stacy came through in the clutch and took care of us. Wonderful customer service, well mannered, and very polite. Every time I visit I will request Stacy

Food was really good and the service was good. I guess the part that really bothered us was that gratuity was added into the check for a party of two. We are always good tippers, tipping above the recommended amount, but we felt like there was something wrong feeling like you are forced to tip whether you want to or not.

I wasnt going to leave a review, but after learning about a 18% surcharge after our meal i feel obliged.

I will say the place has promise to be a great restaurant. The ambiance is great and its a pretty clean establishment.

The issue tonight however is that a long strand of hair was found in my fries. Now I didnt make a big deal about it but it was noted to staff. They did offer to make a new batch to which I declined.

Prices are really exorbitant here. Almost $25 for a poboy and fries? Almost like theft.

Lastly, my husband asks for the bill, pays and adds about 17% tip. We are told there are wifi issues and the lady in the back cant print the receipt. After demanding a receipt we are told it would be a short wait and a receipt was brought shortly after.

Only when we got home do we find out we have an added 18% surcharge to our bill which was not mentioned by the waitstaff or posted anywhere in the establishment. Adding insult to injury.

I do not recommend this place and my family will not be back. We try and support our own, but this was less than excellence in service. Do right by your customer.

It was awful..chicken tenders hard as a rock. Greasy fish, mustard greens were bitter..and after taste almost can like. Drink was not made and frozen properly, deviled eggs not seasoned looked like pre paste.. never again. Also too loud, confusing atmosphere is it for your auntie or hip hop club or western like menu says.

This was our first time visiting per the recommendation of our neighbor and it did not disappoint. We were seated immediately, waters and cornbread served quickly and our orders taken promptly. My only complaint was the music was so loud I could not hear the server talking to us. We did ask them to turn it down just a little as to be more comfortable and they did oblige. We ordered the chicken deviled eggs, the meatloaf dinner with sweet fries and the fried catfish lunch with dirty rice, Mac n cheese, and onion strings. The food was fantastic and the pricing for the lunch menu was very reasonable. They do add the 18% to the bill for tip which i understand is probably needed in today's economy, we however felt they cut themselves short for those of us that do tip 20% or more. They also do offer a military discount which was very nice. Overall A++. We will definitely be back.

We went this past Sunday and idk what was going on but the food wasn't that good.. It was definitely different from the first time we went there. The grits looked like oatmeal instead of grits it was thick and chunky. The waitress would drop off the food and just leave before we could ask for anything and if we did ask ...She would be gone in a flash. My husband had the pork chop plate and ate one and took the other one home for leftovers the next day he reheated his food and took a bite of the fried porkchop and bit into paper..😳😬 So he tried to call both numbers and the numbers wouldn't work...( it would say the phone number is not working) and then he drove 30 mins back to restaurant still calling and it would not go through. He spoke to the manager and was told that the only thing they can do since it was the next day is to give us our money back for the meal which is fine and put it on system to let them know what happen. Im not sure what was going on but I do know the Texans game was on 🤔

This place has changed. The music selection is awful. I’ve never heard slow 80s music and Mariah Carey songs played back to back while at a brunch on football Sunday. The food was also mediocre this time. One order came out wrong and the other had a side of macaroni and cheese with shredded cheese just sitting on top- not melted and cold. Nothing was hot, but it took forever to come out. The ownership has clearly changed.
