Myself and husband went there on yesterday. Had to pay 20 to park in their parking lot. Had alot of young ppl hanging outside asking for pills.Once inside no one greets you or anything so we seated ourselves. A altercation was happening when we sat down did not see any staff de-escalate it. Place was very unwelcoming and hood. After a few mins of not being acknowledge we left. Too much was going on in there. Staff look not trained and everyone was all over the place.

overcharge and mid.
These people taxed me to death on a to go order...I did not sit down and eat. If I wasn't trying to get out of there so fast I would have noticed they had already charged me gratuity and a fee for using my card🤬...I knew the fee didn't seem right at all but never experienced this so wasn't expecting to view all this once I made it across town. I wanted to support but this is kinda crazy!

It’s very hit or miss
I was planning to leave short review of my recent experience at this restaurant, but I feel it’s worth doing this. The place offers quite good food, especially the signature dishes, but the overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired—tables had crumbs and the floors are sticky especially outside patio. The staff, unfortunately, appeared unprofessional, often rushing or seeming distracted. My wait time was approximately 45 minutes, which seemed to be the standard during all hours, I also have concerns regarding safety—though I won’t delve into specifics—so I would advise especially young patrons to be cautious. For those with a bit more sophistication or refined taste, this spot will not be a good fit for you….

fried catfish and spaghetti are delicious, service a little slow and they stew always out of condiments like Tartar sauce other than that, I will be returning to try their other items, I appreciate them being open 24 hours

Food was not good. Parking lot small with potholes and cones in the few spaces available. Bad service with 15% automatic gratuity.

First of all I would advise everyone to check your account once you pay, because I was charged one thing but they took something else out of my account.

The service was terrible and the food was not good at all. I ordered salmon first but they were out on a Monday night? So I ordered lamb chops, grits, collard greens and a side order of French toast. The French toast was dry and tasted like stale bread. The grits were lumpy and bland along with tasteless greens. No seasoning on the food. Everything is plastics to include the plates and utensils. The music was extremely loud to the point we could not even have a good conversation. Overpriced food and drinks, lastly they included a 15% gratuity for the horrible service. This is the first and last time they will get my money.

Extremely overpriced for poor food. I was excited to try this place and was very disappointed. The red velvet waffles are not that and the lobster bites tasted like they were cooking in week old grease. The omelette was lack luster and expensive just to actually make it an omelette. Will not be back unfortunately. 2 stars for them at least taking the meal off the bill.

The food and service was great, atmosphere leaves much to be desired and parking is terrible. Overall, not too bad to where I wouldn’t want to visit again. The pasta is delicious and the bartender was great!

I’m pretty late leaving this review but here goes…..my man and I patronized this establishment maybe a week ago around 3/4am. When we walked inside the vibe was cool and we sat in the first seats at the bar. I noticed that the counter was pretty filthy. Sticky, stained, etc. Not sure why the bartender doesn’t keep the counter clean. I didn’t even wanna touch it so I sat with my hands in my lap. This was a red flag, but we both had really been wanting to try this place so I didn’t say anything to my man. The bartender took sooo long to take our order that my man had to get up and ask security to get her to acknowledge us. She had a good attitude but she wasn’t very attentive. After she took our order it took exactly 20mins for it to come out which was cool. I got fried lobster bites with waffles and my man got the spaghetti with chicken wings. We paid, got our food, and left. When we got in the car I looked at the food through the clear plastic top just to make sure it looked correct which it did. Once we got home we sat down to eat. I opened my to-go container first, everything looked fine still. Then my man opened his……..IMMEDIATELY I side eyed him because I couldn’t believe the smell that came out as soon as he opened it. He was so pissed, the food smelled as if it was SPOILED. We sniffed the plate and figured the odor was coming from the spaghetti and not the wings. We packed that food up so fast and headed right back to Day&Night. My man took his plate back inside and told the lightskin waitress the issue. She opened the container and her eyes literally got wide from the smell. One of the owners gave us a full refund with no problem which I do commend. But it sucks because we really wanted to support a black owned spot. Now my man doesn’t want to go back which I can’t blame him. Not sure how you serve SPOILED food, but pleaseeeeeee you guys I’m begging y’all to do better. I would like to give Day & Night a 2nd chance in the future but for right now we won’t be patronizing them anytime soon. :(

I ordered the shrimp and grits, and unfortunately, they were very disappointing. The dish looked appealing, but it had no real flavor just greasy grits with little to no seasoning. For the price, I expected much better quality. Parking was $22, and gratuity was automatically included, which added up quickly. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean, but the restroom was dirty with stains on the walls. Overall, it’s a beautiful space, but the food and restroom cleanliness definitely need improvement.
