Wow, they have beautiful desserts here. The coffee is good, too. I had a latte and it was fantastic.

I ordered a cake for my boyfriend’s surprise birthday. First, I will say the cake was delicious. My boyfriend tasted it even though he was extremely full and said that it tasted like a traditional tres leches cake. Although the cake was tasty, there were several issues with the delivery. I requested a delivery time of 11:30-12:30. When I called the bakery at 12:41, I was told that the bakery did not open until 12. This time slot should not be available if the bakery is not open during this time. Next, I called the bakery again at around 1:10 inquiring about the cake and was told that the cake was dropped off and signed for. I voiced my dissatisfaction that I was not notified and was told that the driver is good about notifying that the delivery had been made. Attached is my call log, showing the two calls that I placed to the bakery and none that were placed to me by “said driver.” By the time that the cake was found, several guests had dessert at the restaurant and were too full to try the cake. I feel that the delivery fee was a waste of money. If I decide to order again in the future, I will definitely choose “pick up” instead of “delivery.”

One of the best red velvet cupcakes I have ever tasted.

Ordered a tres leches slice and a lemon blueberry cake slice for delivery.
The tres leches was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet and satisfied the tastes of a picky eater.
The lemon blueberry cake was also very good. I usually dislike lemon flavored desserts, but it was a good mix between the sweetness of the frosting/blueberry and the fresh sourness of the lemon. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, either, which made everything more pleasant. The blueberry compote on top of the slice was also good.
Although the size of a slice is good for a single person, I still think the slices cost a little too much for the amount given. I do still see myself coming back here in the future regardless, though.

Omg I was in heaven when I walked in those doors today was my first time coming here it will definitely not be my last I got a slice of cheesecake & Red velvet cupcake both deserts were soft and so fresh the store was clean the staff looked very presentable and very welcoming

I have been purchasing cake here for the last several years. And I love it. However, today, when I went in to get two slices of cake - there were two customers at the counter who CLEARLY didn’t know what they wanted and were completely oblivious to any other customers waiting to make a purchase. Rather than the person behind the counter acknowledging that others were waiting and ask this, frankly, rude couple to step aside until they knew what they wanted - she just blankly stood there without any awareness of the folks that were waiting. So, for the first time ever, I
left to take my business and my money elsewhere. Hey, Dessert Gallery, you may want to train your staff a little better to make sure that they are aware of all customers especially in a situation like this one. I really don’t mind waiting when someone is in the midst of buying - but when someone is just taking up space maybe attend to customers who are ready?

I have ordered cakes and cake slices for many years. They always taste and look amazing. I have had great customer service each time!!

Very cute place and I love that it's open late, though that definitely made it busy when we went.
The chocolate mousse cake was melt-in-your-mouth texture and the more bitter cake bottom was a good balance.
The apple brown betty was good, with an unusual and yummy shortbread-type streusel.

Desserts are amazing however staff is very rude white girl with red hair basically threw us out we payed for our desserts right before closing she came to us 3 times and they threw us out not our fault it took yall so long to serve desserts I would never tell my customers to leave while they was eating

I grew up going to the first location and unfortunately this will be my last time patronizing Dessert Gallery. The service and quality of the desserts have steadily declined. Why have only one person taking orders and the rest standing behind the counter staring at people waiting in line? By the time I could finally order I lost interest. Ordering ahead only works if they actually prepare your order before you arrive. Space is already cramped and you have people waiting in line and waiting for their order. Letting another customer literally skip all the customers waiting in line to buy candles was the last straw for me.

Place is great for people looking for vegan and gluten free desserts. Plenty of options. Their brownies are one of my favorite. Staff are really friendly. Wish they open a location in Katy too.

Great quality including special diets. A bit pricey but yummy!
