Food was fantastic! We had a bunch of stuff but my favorite was probably the spicy scallop hand roll. The gyoza were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the Japanese pancake was awesome and the pork belly and steak skewers were on point! Fun atmosphere and the staff were really nice and attentive. I’ll be back soon to try more of that menu.

This place is fantastic! They have all the classic comfort and street Japanese foods and some unique ones. We had the potato croquettes, wasabi shumai, clam soup (not quite to Hokkaido Air Do, but still wonderful) togarashi cheese rolls (spicy!), some skewers, some sushi, and the karaage curry don. They serve the draft beer with a classic smaller cup. The restaurant is small with a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Everything we ordered was delicious! We got the agedashi tofu, chicken karaage, sausage and beef skewers, spicy tonkotsu ramen, and spicy miso ramen. We ended the meal with a crème brûlée donut paired with yuzu sherbet. The beef skewers were our favorite out of everything! We also loved the vibes and the cute decor throughout the place. Definitely coming back!

Heard about it from a friend. Best kept secret in Houston. It is really high-quality for the quality of fish. Something for everyone

What a delightful experience! The food is top notch. The Una Don was exceptional, the eel was grilled perfectly, flavorful and tender. The Katsu Curry was satisfying and comforting. A huge bonus is Asahi on draft, what more could you want for?

What a wonderful experience I had dining at this charming restaurant. The service was exceptional along with the quality of food. Everything was fresh and very well prepared. I ordered multiple dishes to try and loved how they brought each one out after I was near completion of the one served prior. It felt intimate since the employees were very attentive and the energy was fantastic. Highly recommend dining here. An added bonus is the affordability of their menu.
