Coming from NY and being domi/bori our cuisine is a needle in a haystack. I live pretty close to this place and when I don’t want to cook our food and craving it I go here giving them chance after chance after chance because I want to support . The food is always a hit or miss their prices are ridiculous and the staff isn’t welcoming at all those ladies act like you owe them something
First time trying Dominican for trying different nationalities quest. Reading other reviews i was scared the language barrier going to be a problem since I don’t speak Spanish but a young women spoke English. So I got the meal plate you can choose one type of rice, one type of meat and one side . So purple rice bean thingy as the rice , beef, and the plantain as the side . Yes I do agreed with other reviewers it’s pricey but it fill my gluttony belly up . No loud music when...
Food is pretty good. If you want to know how authentic Dominican food tastes like, then this is a great place. They also have other stuff to buy that are from the Dominican Republic like accessories, candies and products. However is bit too pricey and sometimes too loud with the music playing.
