Great arepas. I got the Reina and the pernil arepas and they were so delicious. For the place to not be busy (it was only one other person), I had to wait for over half an hour. But the arepas were so good that it didn’t even matter.

Food is ok. You either like it or not I guess. Although I must say they go really heavy on salt. I found the empanadas quite tasty. The pork in the arepas was not particularly good but passable. The cachapas: I liked the flavor but I don't know if it was the corn husks or the cheese or what, sometimes I felt like I was ingesting some tiny melted plastic shreds.. service was slow but fairly friendly. Prices are on the high side for what you are eating but the portions are large.

My partner is Venezuelan and when we came to Houston, we decided to check this place out. The food was amazing. Even though I didn't speak Spanish, the people working were incredibly nice and overall the sweetest people ever. My partner even teared up because it made him feel like he was back home.
