Great arepas. I got the Reina and the pernil arepas and they were so delicious. For the place to not be busy (it was only one other person), I had to wait for over half an hour. But the arepas were so good that it didn’t even matter.

We went there bc of the reviews but it's very disappointing to me having my family there for lunch yesterday. The restaurant seems to be in transition to the new owner but the food has nothing to do with it. We deeply knew the food they offer since we're South Americans but the menu has nothing to do with what we received. The sancocho didn't have potatoes, not meat. Just was a "caldo" liquid on it. Besides, The plate they recommended was pretty expensive for the amount we received. We also asked for some empanadas and never received them. The worst of all was the fact that we were pretty much the only people inside. Hope to find a better place to have our Latin American cuisine here in Cypress!!

Food is ok. You either like it or not I guess. Although I must say they go really heavy on salt. I found the empanadas quite tasty. The pork in the arepas was not particularly good but passable. The cachapas: I liked the flavor but I don't know if it was the corn husks or the cheese or what, sometimes I felt like I was ingesting some tiny melted plastic shreds.. service was slow but fairly friendly. Prices are on the high side for what you are eating but the portions are large.

My partner is Venezuelan and when we came to Houston, we decided to check this place out. The food was amazing. Even though I didn't speak Spanish, the people working were incredibly nice and overall the sweetest people ever. My partner even teared up because it made him feel like he was back home. At night they have live music,and they even make reservations for huge parties or private events! This place is amazing. Check it out if you ever want legitimate latin-american food made by amazing people.

A hidden gem with great atmosphere! The service was great and the food was delicious. The live entertainment (@Fernando.showman) was a plus! We had the special, Carne en Vara, seafood rice dish and a few sides including tequeńos and cachapas. Also enjoyed their natural juices and Polar beer. Will definitely come back very soon!
