EL MEJOR LUGAR PARA PISTIAR

Some of the best tacos on this side of town, with alot of choices for meat and veggies. Definitely recommend the piernas (pork leg) tacos, & rajas tacos. Prices are good and their charros are great!

Service was quick and friendly despite a large lunch crowd and I enjoyed my $7.99 plate of cheese enchiladas with green sauce and sides of rice and refried beans. The beans had a good bacon fat flavor; rice was good with pieces of stewed tomato and onion. Chips came with three different salsa: red, green and brownish. The latter had some decent heat: not burning hot but IMO plenty for lunch. The menu was extensive. I will definitely return.

This place doesn't know what their hours are, as they close before 8 on weekdays despite both of their doors displaying longer hours. On top of that, the menu shows a wide variety of food the restaurant simply does not have. They do not have soft drinks or beer, as shown on the menu. Likewise, the waitress told me they had absolutely no chicken despite half their menu being composed of chicken dishes. I waited at least 8 minutes before I was offered a drink or menu, there only being one person on staff in the front and one in the kitchen. They cannot keep up with the few tables that were here before me, only 3 other parties. [I happened to be by myself tonight.] If you are in the mood for a little disappointment, this is the place for you.

Was trying to make it home before rush hour but was unsuccessful. Started getting hungry so I stopped here. I couldn't find it on Yelp yet. There are many Mexican restaurants in this hood but this one had a cleaner presentation from the outside and the owner (I presume) was putting up the large bulb Christmas lights. Oh so pretty and inviting. It appears this is a Taqueria like restaurant. Inside was basic with wood on one wall and brightly colored cement block on the other. I believe the couple working the restaurant were the owners. The younger lady and her husband spoke limited English. There were 2 cute lil boys, probably around 2&3 years old screaming and running around closer to the kitchen and prep area. The tv was on loud while Hispanic music played. I almost left because of the very high noise factor. Would of been nice if they just played the Mexican music at a moderate level. I ordered the Parrillida Mixta. It basically was 4 way fajitas. The meal had shrimp, beef, chicken and sausage fajitas. I got double beef fajitas instead of chicken. I rec'd my accessory plate which I enjoyed of rice, beans (need to add salsa) a whipped guacamole, pico and lettuce. My fajita plate came out sizzling like a storm. They even had a whole green onion on it, very good. My whole meal overall was good as in a-ok. Nothing bad, nothing sensational. Good taqueria food that filled me up with leftovers and appropriately priced. Actually the homemade corn tortillas were excellent. Rundown Beef fajita meat - avg grade, good seasoning Shrimp fajitas - 3 med size, needed butter Sausage fajitas - very tender, very salty Service was very good. At one point I asked the young lady if they could turn down the loud tv or music but she shut off both. I don't think she understood but she was really nice. I could see she was trying to make sure my meal was good and checked in on me a few times. The sign on the door said open 7am to 10pm everyday. The menu is large with affordable prices. A variety of soups available also. Good neighborhood taqueria/restaurant. If I was a local I'd come back to try several items off their large menu including breakfast. Parking lot out front with 24 hour surveillance. Yelp review #394
