Great pork tamales and they have enough to pick up several dozen. The service was good, they speak English and are very nice. I will be coming here instead of the #2 location even though it is a bit out of my way - because the restaurant is clean and the staff is welcoming. I think it's mainly an order pickup place.
I came to try the tamales because of a girl that popped up in my TikTok. When I say their tamales are a regular size and not skimpy. They are ! Current price for a dozen is $20 which although may seem pricey to factor in the size and the quality is a reasonable price. Hand comparison by contrast of size. They accept card.
The absolute best tamales I've ever had. I drove 35 minutes to try them today. Well worth the drive. They are big, not like the little tamales other places have. The masa is moist and flavorful and the meat and sauce amazing. The meat looks like meat not mashed up puree. I am from Cali and until today had not found anything that compared to what I was accustomed to. These are even better than the ones I love from my hood Compton. The surroundings are a bit sketchy but...
