I must say that this location has amazing service and food cooked to perfection. Came by to have dinner with my wife on 06/27/2025 at around 9:30 pm right before closing and I must say that we were still received with a smile and great attitudes. I honestly want to say that what really stood out to me beside the delicious food was the service I received from the staff including Devin!!! I believe Devin is the manager, but he is an amazing manager with an amazing personality well...

Food is excellent, but because of service issues, you need to check your bag completely before you leave. This is when you use the drive-thru. They tend to not listen well when you place your order. This happens frequently. The food is worth the mistakes, but you need patience.

Out of all the El Rey locations in Houston, I think this one at Yale & 610 tops them all for food taste and customer service. The Cuban chicken taco was moist & fresh and good-sized, the horchata was addictive because it tasted so good and I couldn't believe I finished the whole cranberry orange muffin because it had a orangey flavor with whole cranberries. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with answering my questions about the menu. Highly recommend...
