I've been coming here since the early 90's and this place was always a treat. Breakfast today was mediocre. My husband's breakfast sorely needed salt. My eggplant and goat cheese panini was full of pickles! More like a pickle sandwich. Also, the goat cheese seemed more like cream cheese maybe bc of the pickles? I've had this sandwich in the past and really enjoyed it. This was a failure. The cappuccino was delicious. Hopefully, the desserts still measure up.

My wife and I frequently eat at Epicure cafe as it's located very near us. I can't say enough good about this place. Their daily specials contain a smorgasbord of international dishes. Each is delicious. A measure of a good restaurant is often how well cooked their vegetables are and Epicure nail their vegetables every time. The vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant are ideal, friendly, neighborly and tasteful. I highly recommend!

Very cute cafe that has lots of options for you. Good pastries and different sandwhiches, paninis and soups as well!Loved the vibe and service was quick but a little disturbing. But food came out quick and very quiet and nice atmosphere. Must try it!

This legendary cafe serves some of the best pastry in Houston. The food is delicious. The owner is always friendly and adds harm to the environment. Once the movie theater reopens, it's the go-to favorite for meals before or after a film.

It’s a beautiful place with great staff. Loved itI paid $7 for an espresso and big cookie ~ fair price for the area (and cheaper than Starbucks).

Food is good and versatile. They have so much options for every taste. Cakes and pastry is the best. Rosemary bread with lentil soup is my favorite. Never disappointed after 15

I don't think the cookies were fresh or made with quality ingredients. The cakes were underwhelming. I've seen other reviews stating that they serve stale items.

Breakfast food was delicious. Service was great and fast.Unfortunately the princess cake wasn’t as good as I expected. It was our main reason for coming here. The real princess cake in Sweden is covered by real marzipan. Here it looks like marzipan but it is not. It tastes nothing like marzipan. It was just some sugar icing.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon to have lunch with family. We stopped here because it was close by to where we were and the pictures of the food looked good.Glad we decided to try this place as everything we ate tasted very good and the ambience was exactly what we were looking for.A small dinner that wasn’t too loud so that we could talk amongst ourselves. There was plenty of people when we visited but it was a quiet and personal setting. We ordered quite a few different dishes and a total of about 5 different plates.I usually rate my visits based on the coffee alone and I’m glad to report that the lattes here are made well. Will happily visit back if I’m around this side of town.

This cafe is a hidden gem nestled in the walkable River Oaks area. The food is homemade and delicious. The ambiance is bustling and trendy with a feel of being in a cafe in a European Country. Give this place a try it will make your list of frequent places to visit!

Not a huge fan of the food but I love the pastry there! The roulette and pistachio cake are amazing. Nice to find somewhere in town that has some European and Persian sweets. The owner is also very nice and is normally in the front talking to. Customers.
