Everything was great! We made our reservation, arrived and truly enjoyed ourselves. Mrs Lori is great! Very attentive, sweet lady. The hostess is a very nice young lady as well. The biscuits are so delicious, you have to try them. We had the fried chicken, fried fish and shrimp platter. Everything was delicious! We definitely recommend.

I always enjoy myself when I go there. My waitress was sweet and attentive. Food is always amazing and music is great.

Delicious fried catfish and juicy fried chicken. We have been a couple of times but we have yet to be disappointed. Make a reservation to save yourself wait time. Worth the wait.

Service, food and ambience were top tier! Great visit and the biscuits are AMAZING!!! Get the bacon jam. The catfish and chicken were delightful. All the sides were delicious. The catch of the day was unfairly delicious!

This is a wonderful place to enjoy food and the atmosphere. Our service was excellent and the food was delicious. The portions of food given were great. The biscuits were OUTSTANDING! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will return when I visit Houston again.

Absolutely amazing and delicious food. The gumbo is phenomenal, the fried chicken was perfect and the homemade biscuits! Love this place.

Everything was incredible, as far as food, service, and quality!!

From the moment I walked in for my solo visit, the tone of the experience felt off. I was greeted not with a welcome, but with a handful of lingering stares that made the start of the meal unnecessarily uncomfortable—especially considering I was simply there as a paying customer.

Unfortunately, the service didn’t improve from there. My server checked on me only twice over the course of an hour and forty-five minutes, and that was including the one time I had to flag her down myself just to ask for a water refill. I also requested a second serving of bread—something that typically comes complimentary with most oyster entrées—and even that felt like an inconvenience.

As for the food, the oysters were firmly mediocre. Nothing memorable, nothing worth the wait, and certainly nothing to make up for the lackluster service.

To put it simply: terrible service, forgettable oysters. If you’re craving seafood, you’re better off heading to Rouxpour—even at double the price—unless, apparently, you happen to fit the “preferred customer” profile based on appearance.

This was my second visit, and I can confidently say it will be my last.

I visited this establishment for the first time and was impressed. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious.They get an extra thumbs up for serving REAL CATFISH! I will return

Great all around. I would come back for the biscuits alone! But beware, just 1 will fill you up! Try them with the bacon jam and you won't regret it :D This was my first time at the restaurant but it struck me as friendly for both formal dining for special occasions and date nights and more casual drop-ins.

Wonderful food, ambiance, and server! Our server, Laurie, was funny, caring, and gave great recommendations. You can tell she loves working here. The biscuits, gumbo, oysters, and fried chicken were freshly made and delicious! This was are first time at this restaurant and it won’t be out last!
