Amazing experience at Tourão Brazilian Steakhouse during Houston Week! The meats were cooked to perfection, the salad bar was fresh and full of variety, and the service was excellent. Perfect spot for anyone who loves authentic Brazilian flavors. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately was very disappointed. I visited last week with some friends, and once we flipped our cards to green, the waiters began bringing the meat. Once they brought out each meat, they pretty much stopped serving us completely. At first we thought they were just preparing more meat, but after about 15 minutes of no more meat, we realized they were serving others, but not our table. All of our cards were still green, but we were left sitting there there not being served. They even stopped serving us water, even after asking for refills.
We ended up having to ask for more food 4 separate times, and it took at least 10 minutes for them to bring the meat out after each request. As a result, we ended up being there for 2.5 hours! At every other Brazilian steakhouse I have been to, the meats are continuously served until I flip my card to red, but this was NOT the case at Tourao. One of the most disappointing things was that none of us were ever asked what temperature we wanted our meat at. Every single piece of beef I was served except one was medium well or well done. I got one piece that was true medium rare. Again, every other Brazilian steakhouse I have been to always asks what temperature I would like.
This is not a cheap meal, and I was extremely disappointed with the service, especially given the price.

Smaller place than the Fogo types; much more of a warm feeling. Wonderful tasting meats, and when we told the staff we liked it rare, they kept bringing the tasty cuts to us the way we liked it. Very friendly staff. The live music was very nice; the singer had such a great voice. All around a great evening!!!!!
