Our family made an impromptu choice to come here for dinner one night. It was outstanding. The staff was incredible and friendly, the food was fantastic! It was the first time my kids had eaten at a Brazilian steakhouse. Needless to say, they got hooked! Dress code was a little more casual than Fogo which we liked because we were not planning to go to a fancy steakhouse.

Everyone was incredibly attentive. Not only was my server coming to check on our table but so many other staff members would come to my table as well and ask if everything was going well, offering us more beverages, asking if there was a specific meat we requested, clearing anything not needed anymore from the table, I also mentioned it was my brothers birthday and they brought out not 1 but 2 desserts, they were yummy! I really appreciated the staff. As of the meat, exceptional! The filet mignon/ Ribeye/ lamb chops were just delicious!! Super tender and juicy, as well as the salad bar was really good too. The gentleman singing live was so talented, it was such a vibe. Overall 10/10

If you’re visiting for the first time, make sure to carefully check the menu yourself! The food and atmosphere are good, but the service is terrible! They are very sneaky. It was my first and last time visiting this place. The waiter didn’t even give us the menu — he just showed it to us from a distance. He only introduced their more expensive set menu (around $57.75), so we trusted and assumed that was the only option. When we ordered dessert, they also didn’t give us the menu, so we thought it was included. However, when we got the bill, we were told that dessert was charged separately. We were really shocked, because the cheaper set menu (around $39.75) actually includes dessert, like cheesecake. But for the more expensive one, desserts are not included — I only realized this after asking to see the menu when paying. And the waiter was super rude speaking Spanish loudly to some other people when I asked for the menu and that was the very first time I got it.
The waiter dropped a shrimp on my friend’s pants without saying sorry.

Me and my friends agreed this is what Texas De Brazil should be, the staff is incredibly friendly, they make sure your glasses never go below half, explain menu items, and even crack jokes with ya to make you feel at home. Food is yojr classic Brazilian steakhouse items, and they are all cooked very nicely and all have a great flavor. If I’m ever back in Houston with my buddies we’ll be sure to run by here again.

Better then big chain spots. The service is fantastic and the meat is well cooked with no gamey flavor. Highly recommended for a lunch meeting or to hang out with friends. If youbhave a big apetite can't beat the lunch special. Will definitely return before I leave the city.
I am a frequent visitor of Tourao. They are my favorite Brazilian steakhouse in Houston. The ambiance is very nice, and I love the Craftsman Home environment. Their food is always great, and their staff are super friendly an accommodating. I always recommend this place to friends and family.

100% worth it. Service staff pays extra attention to you. The meats that come around are seasoned and cooked excellently. I came on a Friday night and got to experience a lovely vocalist with a pianist playing live music. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. This is a wonderful place to eat when you have some extra money, and I will definitely be back!
