It used to be a favorite of ours, but this location has gone down hell. Clientele worse most times. Staff shabby looking & uninterested in their jobs. Food is about the only thing decent anymore. We typically go to the 249 @ Spring Cypress location nowadays. Cleaner, better staff, & better individuals (shabbier than the staff - can see why the employees are disconnected from their jobs) in the restaurant. Guess it gets 4 stars on nostalgia of how much better it used...
This is the best Freebirds location in town that we have been to as the food is fresh and very tasty. The staff is very nice and helpful as well. We live closer to the Mason Rd (horrible tasting food and staff) and Bunkerhill (ok tasting and good staff) locations but will travel to this one because so much better. The only knock on this location is the A/C is a bit noisy when it runs and then of course all the construction on 1960 but that is not in their control.

Workers were awesome. Went in almost closing time and they greeted me with huge welcome in and smiles. They took my order without batting an eye. They had it ready in no time and was perfect. They have great queso.
