We were given a lovely chef’s tour of the kitchen and met the staff, who clearly enjoyed the attention! Highly recommended 😍“

“I came in for afternoon tea service, which is a new service for provided. The place was beautiful, so much little details in things like the menu, and dishes. The staff was wonderful, tea selection was great. Starter tea was great, I chose the oolong with milk and it was so delicious. Side note, free valet parking was nice.

My only feedback for the tea service is:

Jam should be an option with the scones, I know both scones are quite sweet as is, but that should always be an option. I would recommend getting a proper three tier serving for the service. It's much more aesthetic and leaves room to space our the items nicely, and is usually the standard for afternoon tea.

“Nguyen Ngo French Sandwich is a well-known Vietnamese sandwich store in the Houston, TX area. Sometimes, I stop by the store and buy some sandwiches. I like their croissant BBQ chicken and grilled pork sandwiches. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The cashier is always friendly to the customers. Most customers order the sandwiches to go. There are a few dining tables for people to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, but many customers just order to go. The store's atmosphere is not cozy.“

“Excellent service (Fransisco)!!! Came in with daughter along with 2 infants and the staff was amazing and so warm! Loved the devil eggs as a starter and lunch was delicious! Great place for a casual to business lunch whether sitting inside or on patio!“

“Huma was an absolute angel — sweet, efficient, and got us seated faster than I can say “Is there a wait?” (there wasn’t, thanks to her magic).
Then came Fabio, our waiter, who was so attentive I started wondering if he could read minds. Either that or he just really knew when I needed a refill and a life update. 10/10 service with a side of psychic ability.
As for the food? I would have taken a picture… but the plate was empty before my phone even unlocked. I blacked out somewhere between the first bite and licking the plate clean like a hungry cartoon character. No regrets. Just crumbs and happiness.
Highly recommend. Bring an appetite and maybe a bib.“

“The escargot is to die for - she has the chicken breast with brown raspberry sauce, green beans, and fingerling potatoes. I opted for the special which was steak, roasted tomatoes with bread crumbs, and an au gratin style potatoes that was exceptional. Dessert was a poached pear and ice cream dish and it was also sublime. service was a little lacking - we weren't checked on as much as the other patrons and we found one of the waitresses to not be as knowledgeable about the wine menu as we would've expected. it didn't ruin the evening at all, just a small hiccup. this place is exceptional, we can't wait to go back“

“As usual, everything about this local, husband and wife run restaurant was outstanding. The menu is not huge but has every type of entree one could want -- fish, chicken, steak, pork belly, rack of lamb and short ribs. The couple that run and operate this restaurant are friendly, professional, and hard working. They have earned our repeat business and will continue to do so. If you have not been here, bring your own bottle of wine (or two) and you will not regret it.“
