We were in from out of town and I told them I wanted to eat at Marigold since it opened and they were so gracious and gave us a corner booth with a view of the whole restaurant. We had the fried chicken dinner and it was outstanding. Can't wait to come back!“

“The escargot is to die for - she has the chicken breast with brown raspberry sauce, green beans, and fingerling potatoes. I opted for the special which was steak, roasted tomatoes with bread crumbs, and an au gratin style potatoes that was exceptional. Dessert was a poached pear and ice cream dish and it was also sublime. service was a little lacking - we weren't checked on as much as the other patrons and we found one of the waitresses to not be as knowledgeable about the wine menu as we would've expected. it didn't ruin the evening at all, just a small hiccup. this place is exceptional, we can't wait to go back“

The atmosphere is absolutely stunning — a beautifully designed space with a chic bar and an elegant dining area that set the perfect tone for the evening. Every course impressed us, from the creative cocktails and flavorful appetizers to the exquisite main dishes and indulgent desserts. We tried the Beef Tenderloin, Scottish Salmon, and Cod — all were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The zucchini fritters were a delightful surprise and a definite must-try! Cocody offers a great range of menu options at various price points, making it easy to find something for everyone. The service was exceptional — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend Cocody and are already looking forward to our next visit. “Visited Lucio’s for the first time. The BYOB is a major plus only for $10 cork fee. They do have their own wine selection (pricey). The food was great. I would not say the food was amazing but it was great. Presentation of the plates is good, but nothing I would describe as amazing or spectacular. The food is a bit overprices in my opinion. You are looking at an average $45-55 an entree, with some in the $60+. Service was top notch, very attentive staff. The ambience of the restaurant is ok, I think the tables were a bit simple and not elegant IMO. There are 2 seating areas, we sat by the entrance in from of the kitchen. At first I thought how cool but I must admit that there was quite a bit of “smoke” in terms of what was being cooked such as fish etc that you could easily smell from the table and I particularly did not like that. I would definitely come back.“

Real expresso, coffee americano cup, almond croissant, croissant with French butter as well pain au chocolate highly praised for their flaky texture, éclair, sandwiches, made with fresh bread in quality flour are excellent... we can find a little slice of Europe Café - terrace

Authentic products, European hospitality, and reasonable prices. fast service inside, clean, fresh select food.
Place can get very busy, parking in Rice Village is sometimes difficult. The line can be long on weekends.

“The wife and I visited recently…her idea, she was looking for a good almond croissant. Apparently she found it! 😄 She had one of those and a chocolate croissant. Loved them both! I got the eclair and it was great! Vanilla pastry cream in every bite. Service was great and the staff was nice. Inside was cozy and green. It had a great vibe. We are defiantly coming back. Oh! And the French baguette I got to go…made some great sandwiches at home.“

“Noticed this small restaurant on the way home one day by chance. Given it appeared to be a new local business I posted support for it, saying I would take family and friends there but was to busy to go by. Finally today, took a buddy and had the fried swai, seasoned fries and Buffalo wings. We had a great time in a chill environment laughing sharing good food. I spoke with owner and enjoyed their covered patio with fans and enclosed with netting. Please support a great local business & chef, ask for Ms. Rachel & tell her Butler sent ya!

“Nguyen Ngo French Sandwich is a well-known Vietnamese sandwich store in the Houston, TX area. Sometimes, I stop by the store and buy some sandwiches. I like their croissant BBQ chicken and grilled pork sandwiches. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The cashier is always friendly to the customers. Most customers order the sandwiches to go. There are a few dining tables for people to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, but many customers just order to go. The store's atmosphere is not cozy.“

“Didn’t even know this French Crêperie existed until I drove by ,figured ok let’s check it out well it doesn’t disappoint the food is excellent I get the Nutella w/strawberry Crêpe delicious.The staff is always friendly this is my 4th time here and Melli has greeted me with a smile and friendly welcome I appreciate that.I talked to her briefly and told her a smile doesn’t cost a penny sometimes that’s all it takes 😊“
