“What I personally love about restaurants is when the lights are dimmed, and walking into the Marigold Club, the ambience was perfect—low lighting, warm, and inviting. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was told I could wait at the bar, so I ordered a dirty martini while I waited for my friends. Once our table was ready, we started with oysters topped with caviar and a Ricotta Gnudi served with peperonata, Parmesan, and summer squash. While we waited for our main dishes—I ordered the seared ocean trout—the server was incredibly attentive and offered great recommendations throughout the night. Overall, I loved everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere, the food, and the service all made for a wonderful dining experience.“

“Nice little mom and pop cafe and bakery. They have great amount of French style bake goods But I just got coffee and a croissant sandwich that day both were tasty and the service was fast since we were the only customers inside at the time.“

“The escargot is to die for - she has the chicken breast with brown raspberry sauce, green beans, and fingerling potatoes. I opted for the special which was steak, roasted tomatoes with bread crumbs, and an au gratin style potatoes that was exceptional. Dessert was a poached pear and ice cream dish and it was also sublime. service was a little lacking - we weren't checked on as much as the other patrons and we found one of the waitresses to not be as knowledgeable about the wine menu as we would've expected. it didn't ruin the evening at all, just a small hiccup. this place is exceptional, we can't wait to go back“

“The French Corner Restaurant & Catering has absolutely mouth watering food! Everything they do is delicious!! My favorite is their Salad Ranch Dressing 🤣 The place is beautiful, clean, neat, well kept! Awesome for any event you may have! They also do catering! “Let me make this VERY clear: I do NOT like seafood. I avoid it like bad credit.

But that Pistachio Snapper at Ruggles Black? Man… listen. That fish had no business being that good. I took one bite and immediately started questioning my entire personality. I said, “Hold up… do I like seafood now? Or is this just THAT fire? I still don’t like seafood but I won’t mind getting the snapper 🫣

Perfect taste, perfect flavor, perfectly disrespectful to every seafood dish that ever disappointed me. That snapper was hitting so hard I almost apologized to all the fish I talked bad about.

The vibe at the restaurant is crazy good, the service is on point, and the food comes out looking like it got styled by a professional food photographer.

If a person who doesn’t even LIKE seafood is telling you to order the snapper… just trust me.

We tried the Beef Tenderloin, Scottish Salmon, and Cod — all were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The zucchini fritters were a delightful surprise and a definite must-try! The service was exceptional — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend Cocody and are already looking forward to our next visit. “What a great restaurant! 4 of us had the goat cheese/apple salad, medium rare ribeye steak au poirve with red wine reduction, short ribs, scallops, crème brule, and chocolate brownie with strawberry sorbet. All dishes were perfection. Hostess/waitress/sommelier Irena is charming and the wife of the chef. She used the proper wine thief tool to remove the cork on a 40 year old Bordeaux and did so perfectly.“

“We stopped in from out of town. The smell that engulfs you when you walk in is nothing short of heavenly. It’s so comforting. The fresh bread, soup, & pastries wake up every sense you have. Everything looks beautiful & well maintained. The seating can be a tiny bit crowded but does feel authentic. The servers were very sweet. I ordered the Milky Way & it’s the best coffee I’ve ever had, no lie. We also ordered an eclair at the advice of the people in line with us, it seems to be a customer favorite. It was really good. I also ordered a pecan danish & while I do think it would taste better warmed, it was still really pleasant. My boyfriend got the raspberry tart & has still been raving about it 3 days later. Everything was fresh & made in house as well. Would definitely recommend & revisit in the future.“

“The wife and I visited recently…her idea, she was looking for a good almond croissant. Apparently she found it! 😄 She had one of those and a chocolate croissant. Loved them both! I got the eclair and it was great! Vanilla pastry cream in every bite. Service was great and the staff was nice. Inside was cozy and green. It had a great vibe. We are defiantly coming back. Oh! And the French baguette I got to go…made some great sandwiches at home.“

“Noticed this small restaurant on the way home one day by chance. Given it appeared to be a new local business I posted support for it, saying I would take family and friends there but was to busy to go by. Finally today, took a buddy and had the fried swai, seasoned fries and Buffalo wings. We had a great time in a chill environment laughing sharing good food. I spoke with owner and enjoyed their covered patio with fans and enclosed with netting. Please support a great local business & chef, ask for Ms. Rachel & tell her Butler sent ya!

“Didn’t even know this French Crêperie existed until I drove by ,figured ok let’s check it out well it doesn’t disappoint the food is excellent I get the Nutella w/strawberry Crêpe delicious.The staff is always friendly this is my 4th time here and Melli has greeted me with a smile and friendly welcome I appreciate that.I talked to her briefly and told her a smile doesn’t cost a penny sometimes that’s all it takes 😊“

“Nguyen Ngo French Sandwich is a well-known Vietnamese sandwich store in the Houston, TX area. Sometimes, I stop by the store and buy some sandwiches. I like their croissant BBQ chicken and grilled pork sandwiches. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The cashier is always friendly to the customers. Most customers order the sandwiches to go. There are a few dining tables for people to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, but many customers just order to go. The store's atmosphere is not cozy.“
