Been going here since its original opening, because I was 13, I think, and watch the owner building on the building. At the time, I stayed in the rosewood apartments, right across the street from the restaurant. The only things I miss is the original creole poboy sausage, and that's a shame. The sausage they have currently is a piece of _ _ _ _!!!

I normally get Frenchies from the Third Ward location, but this was the closest one to where I was on this particular day. The chicken is usually great, so this review is less about the food and more about the service. I pulled up in the drive thru and looked at the menu while the car in front of me received their order. After that car left, the guy about to take my order waved me to the window. When I got up there, he said that I should have already had my window down. Um, for what? I wasn't ordering and I have eyes and glasses, I can tell when the car in front of me is about to pull off. Anyhow, I ask for a 6 wing combo with red beans & rice. He says "I have wings with fries, rice is extra"... Nowhere on the menu does it say that! Also, the Third Ward location never charged you to change sides, why would this one do that? But he said said "it's just me and you here," like he was doing me a favor. When he gave me my food, I asked if the combo comes with a drink, and he said "no." I was about to ask why other locations give a drink with the combo and they don't, but I just took my food and left. The red beans and rice was very watery for some reason. Chicken was solid. Would I suggest Frenchies again? Yes. Would I suggest this location? Well look at my review as well as some of the other recent ones and check that customer service...

I ordered 12 cornbread muffins and they took it upon themselves to send out 12 rolls that didn't match the meal I was serving. Ridiculous! Should have just canceled the order. Money Grabbers! Never again.

From time to time when I order food from French’s Chicken through Door Dash,, I am missing some items. This time there was no Chicken and I only ordered 5 wings.

Service is everything is super horrible I ordered DoorDash and they only gave one fry then after the DoorDash tried to go back, they insinuated that they gave the full entire $50 order when that was not accurate at all I’m very upset. The customer service over the phone was very mediocre and it did not care about the clients or the order they messed up. The DoorDash said they were dancing and playing and not worried about the order at all. Then to top it off order was cold and stain
