Last year, after getting cold chicken and fries I said I wouldn’t come back but I gave in because I was really craving the chicken wings. MISTAKE! Now, I understand that the workers want to prepare food ahead of time to relieve some stress of high demand times but they had tons of chicken prepared and a lot of cold fries with minimal customers… I asked for hot fries and, of course, they just double dipped the ones they already had cooked. However, that wasn’t the worst part… I was not expecting the chicken to be sooo bad. It actually tasted stale which tells me it’s been sitting under that light way too long. I hope I don’t get sick from even attempting to eat it. The service didn’t seem horrible but to serve people all that cold food without a care or thought definitely made me reconsider the service.

This location does NOT have a drive thru. Food was terrible, service was great. My fried fish was very undercooked. The skin was mostly soft and crispy in only one area. The light color tipped me off, but I bit into it anyway and it just wasn’t done. I was hoping this would be as good as the original Scott St location, but it wasn’t. I messaged Frenchy’s on instagram, they are working to correct my order, but seeing other reviews similar to mine here, I wouldn’t chance it.

Poor customer service skills. The chicken was too salty to eat. The staff needs customer service training immediately. I will never go back there again! They don’t acknowledge their customers at all! They make you stand there 10 minutes while they just stand looking at a screen. No sense of urgency whatsoever! The chicken was returned! Refunded

Best fried chicken in Texas, you know it’s good when’s it’s in the hood.
SCAM, ordered 3 pieces, I received 3 HALF pieces... CANT CHEW, no seasoning, go other other location, uber eats always delivers full fillets, seriously.... drove 18 minutes to get some fresh air and I get jipped for picking up in person, store is incredibly hot low AC if any
And fries, did they count ~15 pieces?

We haven't been to a Frenchy's since the Stafford one closed down and boy do we miss it. We had the craving and noticed we had one closer than the original location. When we were ordering the 5 wing combo and 3 campus they didn't have cornbread which is a staple, disappointed. They took away some of the sides they use to sell which was also disappointing. They don't sell the kool-aid. ? After we ordered we sat in the restaurant and the place is a little disorganized. The place does have a smell of a gym, or old sweaty clothes it was a bit of a turn off. Also it was warm in the restaurant on a hot summer day ?. The food came out piping hot and tasty just like we remember it. They did get our order wrong and didn't give us our collards but fixed that and we kept the fries. Would I eat inside the restaurant again no, and it's too far to take home. We might try a different location next time.

Ehhh homeless people sleeping outside the door of the gas station they share the building with, no restrooms you have to walk outside and into the gas station to use theirs because the door between the two inside is chained.
