This location has steadily declined in service quality, and today’s visit was especially frustrating. I seem to sense that the transition of workers to primarily Spanish-speaking has been part of the changes, especially since communication is deteriorating along with the service. I visited around 2pm and twice had to dispute that a King Special includes a drink—something that should be basic menu knowledge. The cashier appeared unsure how to operate the register and was working without adequate support. Communication breakdowns between staff led to delays and confusion, and it raised concerns about accuracy and food safety. These issues also show up when ordering through Uber Eats, where orders consistently take longer than expected. This feels like a management issue: insufficient training, poor staffing decisions, and a lack of accountability. I’ve gradually stopped coming here because the experience has become unreliable and frustrating. I hope management takes this seriously, because the current operation reflects a clear lack of oversight and commitment to service.

I was not impressed with this place at all the location is easy to get in and out but when I got there the table I where i took a seat was unstable and the place was not clean the food was expensive and not that good to me.
I’ve been coming to this location for years. While it’s not the Original Frenchy’s in 3rd Ward, it was the next best thing — was being the key word here.
Something has definitely changed, and not for the better. The chicken breading recipe is clearly different now, and unfortunately, it’s not good. The flavor, the texture — it’s just not what it used to be.
It’s really disappointing to see a place I used to love take such a step back. Sadly, you’ve lost a loyal customer today.
