Simon's Chinese Restaurant Reviews
Might just be the BEST fried chicken in Houston! Perfectly cooked and seasoned with a kick. Those Belizean spices really add a lot of flavor. I was thoroughly impressed. Also, the staff are friendly and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My rice was dry and kinda not hot. The chicken was undercooked.
They are cater towards American Chinese flavors but they also have some authentic Chinese dishes here. The best of all, they also have authentic Belizean flavor food here. Something you can not find elsewhere in Houston. I called ahead to order to go and the lead time to pick it up was fast. The lunch specials are great price and good portion. I love the pork with garlic sauce lunch special. Great service here and it is very clean on the inside.

Simon's Chinese Restaurant offers an authentic Cantonese dining experience, located away from the busy Bellaire Blvd. The restaurant caters to a diverse crowd with two separate menus - one for American Chinese dishes like fried rice and orange chicken, and one for Cantonese specialties like pigs feet and clay pots. Recent reviews highlight the clean and friendly environment, delicious food, and generous portions that are well worth the price. Customers especially enjoy the salt and pepper wings, egg drop soup, wonton soup, and sweet and sour chicken. The spicy beef fried rice is served with a chili oil sauce on the side, adding flavor to the beef and vegetables. The owner is hands-on, providing accurate recommendations and making sure guests have a great experience. The service is friendly, and the food is served piping hot in traditional bowls. Family meal deals and a variety of drinks, including bubble teas and milk tea, are available. With affordable prices and tasty dishes cooked to perfection, Simon's remains a popular spot for Chinese cuisine enthusiasts in Houston's Chinatown area.
