Ordered in. Great chicken, super juicy. A tad too salty but better that than unseasoned meat.

The food is delicious, the chicken is out of the world. Fries are so good the seasoning is so tasty. Everything is good and you should definitely try the desserts all are yummy!

The wait time was about 15 to 20 mins for our food. We Ordered the 3 piece fish combo which was great and full of flavor and a side of cornbread. I drove over 40 mins due to the food being good. When I get home the corn bread was HARD! Which I tried to warm it up to try to soften it up but that didn’t work. The cornbread was horrible I wouldn’t recommended, bland and no flavor , no sugar nothing . Kinda upsetting and let down due to this being a black owned establishment …

The renovation definitely are nice and much needed. The customer service was friendly and the girl was knowledgeable on the menu items. Only downfall is the type of fish they are selling is man-made swai fish. We as a community eat catfish so do better but other than that no complaints.

Great seasoning. It was a different flavor from the normal take out fried chicken. Even the fries had a different taste and I liked it. The service was really friendly and fast. Employees were always cleaning and it was very well maintained. I like the idea of cash free because it’s safer for them. I like the principles here. Will revisit if in the area.

This gentrified Frenchies is a far cry from the good ol hood frenchies back in the day....I haven't been in years, so imagine my surprise when we pull up and the whole neighborhood changed. While aesthetically it looks nice, the soul is GONE. I still like the frenchies off Almeda that's next to a hood store...its FIRE. This original one on Scott?...dont waste ya money.

There's in a better place around to go with and eat and have a great conversation with the person that you're with because the atmosphere around you is just like being in New Orleans and I love it and I love the people all the employees and management love all the celebrities that come through and I love the owner

Since i've left Houston, I haven't had Frenchys in years. The old location further south of Scott was open the last time I ate there. The chicken was ok, the Boudin rolls were very delicious. The seasoning on the chicken was just different then what I remember.

Places like these are the very reason I miss Texas food. It’s been awhile since I was able to get my hands on some good fried chicken and fish fry. I went to through the drive thru on a Friday afternoon at 5 pm, and it was busy. Alfred took my order for 3 pieces of fish fry, shrimp and fried chicken. The wait took about 8 minutes, but it’s worth it knowing the food was just fried up. The fried chicken as always, was seasoned right, crunchy and delicious. The batter on the fish fry is best I’ve ever had in Texas. Lightly breaded, flavorful and a large portion. The shrimp was ok for the most part, but a bit salty. Overall, the same great consistent taste, super nice staff and reasonably priced.
