I ordered a carbonara which was extremely oily and chewy and just over all nasty. The cooks were super rude when I asked how long the wait would be, she responded with a very rude tone. After 30 minutes of waiting for my pasta I kindly asked one of the servers if the pasta was ready, when he went to go check he grabbed a box that had been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes. The pasta was so nasty and cold that I didn’t even eat half of it, I throw the rest away. Not to mention it was extremely overpriced. It was $25 for horrible service and a disgusting meal.

I recently visited Gavi while traveling through George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX, and this was the perfect spot for a quick glass of wine pre-flight! The staff at Gavi are kind + attentive, and the service was efficient during my visit. They have a decent wine list (I tried their Sauvignon Blanc), in addition to several craft cocktails (if you're looking for something other than beer/wine). I didn't try the food during my visit, but the menu looked good! This is a nice spot - highly recommend!

Jaimon was a great bartender!
The wait time was obnoxious, I saw people who sat down and ordered get their pizza before mine. When the pizza maker was putting a pie in the oven and I asked if the pie was a Margarita trying to estimate how much longer my wait time was. He rudely responded back its marinara, with some extra sass. In order to not start an argument I kept my mouth shut only for the pie to end up being my margarita with pepperoni. If you look at the pie there is no cheese the white stuff is ALL GARLIC. I paid 26 for what he said was a marinara, garlic pepperoni pizza. Complete disappointment and WASTE of my money. On top of that for the pizza maker to talk to me with an attitude only because I asked a question. You should really refund my money, disgraceful to hand me a garlic pizza and no cheese like come on.

Disappointing customer service. Heavy attitude. No eye contact when communicating. Staff made facial expressions and gestures to each other as if making fun of the patrons they were serving.

5 employees playing and no one could greed me and my family at the table. 15 minutes later I had to get up and ask for water, finally food came out, no water, no silverware or napkins. Even plate I had to ask for one, now I know why this place is so empty, pizza was good after all.

We were keen to eat here as they were advertising a meal with gluten free pasta. When we came to order this was not an option and we were told there was salad. Poor effort, at the very least your menu needs updating.
One of the few food options that was open late. A little pricey for a pepperoni pizza, but it was made fresh and hot and was big enough to share.
Not only did I get disrespected in Spanish, but I had to cash myself out using the employees iPad because my QR reader on my phone wasn’t working. Took the bartender 30 minutes, just to pour me a whiskey. So far every restaurant or bar that I’ve been to in this airport has had the worst service imaginable to man.

Food was gross at best. The chips were crumbled to the point of requiring a spoon to eat, unfortunately you have to tip prior to receiving anything.
Worst concept I have seen. Ordered an expensive drink using the scan code and they hadn't had the bottle in inventory for months. Refund was nearly impossible. Numerious dirty glasses were next to me for 10 minutes even though no one was busy. If this business wants to continue to exist, changes are needed.
Rude! The worker asked us to leave since we ordered omelet togo! According to the employee, you can only sit there to eat if you order your food from a server. Ordering togo from their ordering counter doesn't count!
Food quality was pretty poor from burnt paninis to Parmesan fries that were made using that fake Parmesan cheese out of a can. I’d pass on the food and just order drinks unless you’re absolutely dying of hunger.
Trash ! They are charging $30-40 for a plate of food that’s worth maybe $10-$15 elsewhere. You can tell they get all of their products from Gordon Food Service (GFS)— majority of their food is frozen then either fried or warmed up. The only reason why I continued to eat my meal and not walk away is because I’m staying overnight at the airport. I was super hungry —and it’s one of the only restaurants open.
