As always, Ginger & Fork shines in all the right categories!! We will surely miss Mary & Mark as this is their last week open. We have been eating here for the last number of years, kids bdays, special occasions or simply a date night or some cocktails.....every meal here has been an experience & will surely miss this place!!!

We have always enjoyed G&F!!! The food. drinks and customer service is absolutely the best! Everyone should go there who hasn't already for great Cantonese cuisine!!! They will be shutting it down at the end of October. :( Mary, we will miss you dearly!

We love Ginger and Fork and are sad they are closing. Last night was not quite up to par. They were very busy. Service was stretched but all very nice. We were a party of four so ordered several starters and four mains. The starters were great, but sadly three of the mains came out cold. They were very busy and we were in a corner and it was difficult to get a server's attention so we did not say anything. We were also celebrating a birthday so we just moved on. We ordered a 4th main and mentioned the first three were cold and it came out piping hot. I think they will be busy up until closing so will probably not be back. It seemed their quality faded a bit with the crowd. Best of luck to you Ginger and Fork. Housotn will miss you.

Just a special dinner with my son and I. We started out with the duck bao which were wonderful and tasty and then had the most incredible soup dumplings. I love the fact that they give you a bowl so you can put the dumpling in the bowl and enjoy all of the broth inside of the dumplings. We then had the velvet shrimp and pork, which was absolutely delicious along with the filet mignon on the sizzling plate, which was equally as good. And of course we had to have the ginger and fork fried rice, which was one of the best I've ever had. It's a shame that they will be closing in a month but so happy that they will be able to enjoy retirement. I've been eating there for years and now that I don't live in Houston I miss it so much! If you get a chance, give them a visit you won't be disappointed. I know I never have been.

This place is closing at the end of October. If you have not yet visited - please make the time to go. You will not be disappointed.

Overpriced for the portion sizes and quality in my opinion. Friendly staff and an interesting mix of formal and informal.

Unjustifiably expensive for a Chinese restaurant in the heights. The meal portions were tiny and the quality of food was average at best.

Great restaurant and the most amazing food. Been coming here for years now. Best ginger margaritas and soup dumplings in town. I am sad that they are closing in October. Will go back a few times to support them before they go.

LOVE this place. It is wonderful. Intimate and high quality cuisine. Beverage selections are superb and wide ranging. Probably my favorite Asian food in town.

This is a great little place. The bar is amazing. You'll get the best whiskey selection in Houston. The owners work the restaurant. Very friendly people and great service.
