Grotto's is a favorite and consistently good. They recently made some changes to their happy hour menu, unfortunately taking off the artichoke dish but adding a few other selections. We ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza and the Margherita side had goat cheese on it, so that had to be done again. Overall, quite good, but not our best experience there.

We had reservations for Easter lunch at 1:30pm. The front hostess sat us at a 4 top close to the swinging kitchen doors when they had several 4 top tables available to pick from. The waiter was attentive. The food was great like always. I would come back again but next time I would make an Open Table note not to put us by their kitchen doors.

good meal BUT we cannot go back because homeless person in the parking lot chased us to our car waited outside the car--terrorized us very scarry--i called the restaurant-talked to the manager who said there is nothing the restaurant is willing to do to provide safe parking this ill looking homeless person has been there before-park there at your own peril

The food is always good here. I had their snapper with a delicious garlic sauce. Beryl was nice and accomodated for a kosher needs. My only issue was the lack of fans and/or incence to push any fruit flies out the door with strong winds and strong natural antifly aromas like lavender or eukalyptus. The artsy bartender Beryl liked the “My Fair Lady” movie, so maybe she can improve her bar and her band name from “Psychodelic Maggot Engine” to “Psychodelic Fan Engines” to blast any flies away while reciting “The Rains in Spain” from the bar. Most restaurants suffer from fans blasting any outside insects, which is normal in a tropical jungle like Houston. Once they get those fans fixed and I can enjoy the food that I ordered without any disturbance, then I can honestly give the place a 5-Star. Some places have terrible food, so fans nor extra hygenic practices cannot save it. This place can be “My Fair Lady” improved to 5-Star with some extra hygenic steps to complement the high quality food and friendly staff. Real friends always listen and provide good feedback.

I would give 5 stars across the board for ambiance, staff, cleanliness, and food. We had the Ravioli Alla Vodka and the Pasta Grotto for our meals, and split the Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert. It was all some of the best food we've had ever. Will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our meal. Food is consistently the same. Plenty of parking with a super friendly staff.
I went around 6 weeks ago man my wife had the lasagna that left me and my wife running to the toilet that night. I had three management employees from grottos reach out to me and said they will make everything right. The third time which was 3 weeks ago they asked for my email and haven't heard anything back since then the main lady Ana was the first one

We were seated toward the back at a round table, which I requested. It was great that we could all chat and not have to yell across the table to hear each other. Rafael was fabulous with our group. You could tell he loves his job! Food was great. Great experience!

Pleasant wait staff, food was good and prepared surprisingly quick.Parking: Many of the parking spots are relegated to the other businesses in the strip center. Can be a challenge to find parking.
