I don't understand how there are people who give bad reviews to such good places just because it's not the Sazóne we're used to in Mexico. They can't understand that the original ingredients can hardly be found in the USA.

After a terrible experience at the Houston airport and another frustrating ordeal renting a car, we ended up dining at Guanatos Group. The food was excellent, but what truly stood out was the spectacular service from Pepe, our waiter. His kindness and attentiveness restored our faith in the city after such a rough start. I have done in the most exclusive Restaurants in Houston and surrounding area. And let me tell y’all this Gem got nothing to envy those Restaurants. The food is the most authentic Mexican food I ever tased in the USA. We drive an hour to get here and it was definitely worth the drive. Service impeccable from Pepe (Jose) you got to try this place I don’t often guarantee any places but this one. I definitely guarantee you’ll be amazed..

This place is overpriced and the food is not great. It'll pass if your just THAT hungry. I had the Enchiladas Verdes. There was hardly any flavor. My mom had the Tacos Birria and it was also just ok for the price. The menu selection is poor. There are no sides to order from, and they only have Pepsi products. I personally won't be back.

We really enjoyed the Mexican food here! We had the chicken fajita, crispy tacos, and buñuelos for dessert. We particularly enjoyed the dessert!
It is right next to the hotel we stayed at so it was very convenient. Our waitress was also very friendly.
While we didn't order drinks, the ones other guests ordered were fairly large!
Absolutely the best enchiladas in Houston. We had Mole Enchiladas and Enchiladas Verdes. Both clearly homemade, not canned, and very fresh. Prefect it seasoned and hot. Recommended by our very friendly and attentive server. The rice was also exactly right. Next time I am in Houston I will make a point of going there. Highly recommend this place for food and service.

A diamond in the rough 4 sure. I stopped here late night, to try some food & I find that the kitchen was closed, talked to the owner & she was so nice she made me some Birria tacos that was so amazing. The atmosphere here feels like family, the food tastes like a mothers love. If you're ever in town or at the airport & needing great food with music. This is the spot to be.
Missed our flight and had to get a hotel-stumbled on this local spot and SO thankful we did! The Tacos de Birria were fantastic! Great food- flavor and authentic! Pepe gave great service-recommendations and told us all about the restaurant and story! We will definitely be back if ever in Houston! Bring over to CO, we will be regulars!
