Pretty bad. Service was one notch above being completely ignored. Tables are all sticky. Plasticware crocks haven’t been cleaned in a while, along with everything else. Couldn’t find a single crawfish in my etouffe, basically just a tomato pepper gravy. Shrimp taco was ok.

The gumbo and etoufee were amazing. The pasta was the hit of the meal shared between the 3 of us. The sweet potato fries were the best we have ever had. So glad we found this place just minutes from the airport.

I ordered a 8-piece WHOLE WING dinner, two catfish Opelousas plates, and two fish sandwich plates. The plates were bland. The wings I received were party size. The picture of the Wings on hole size next to the description which also describes the wings as whole wings. This meal was $19. Had I known it was party size wings I would not bought the meal. Plus they were bland as well.

Food was really great. We had the fried shrimp, the shrimp crab cake sandwich, and the tuna steak sandwich. All three of us really enjoyed the food. Deduct one star for cleanliness, the soda machine being broken, and one of the cooks was rather impolite when I asked for cocktail sauce for my shrimp AND ranch for my fries. He didn’t like the idea of two sauces evidently lol. Other than that we were very impressed and will return.

This place is awesome. I've been coming here for years and always bring my crews every time I'm in Houston. The gumbo is amazing, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My friend's burger looked so good too. Obviously handmade, thick, and juicy. The service has always been fast and friendly as well.

The food is still good. The rest you gotta endure. I don’t think this place is what it used to be. I’m not sure if past success got to them or what. The place is not as clean as I’d like it to be. Drink machine is broke and now only serves ice. Gotta buy a can drink.

I swung by Gumbo Jeaux for a quick bite and gave the catfish a try—gotta say, it was pretty tasty.
So good my fat ass ordered two meals, but after 5 hours on an tin can in the sky it was justified. Airport will taunt you with overpriced off-brand fast food, but if you're in Houston save your money for some real food. Delicious food, great tunes, can't go wrong. Pasta Lashelle has me looking sideways at any alfredo that ain't spicy now. 10/10

I have been here before and it was much better. This time was not very good. The red beans and rice were so heavily peppered they were almost inedible. The fish tacos had very little fish in them. The counter staff were not very friendly. This was a shadow of the previous visit that was pretty good. Would not recommend.
