The best Chinese food in Houston hands down. Especially with the prices offered. Everything is very reasonable and the food is insane

Delicious. The atmosphere is good, it helps that the incense and cleaning products they use smells almost exactly like my grandmother's place.I would recommend the beef with bitter melon dish on the lunch menu.

Becaful when ordering Set Menu, nothing special and if you add up, it’s pricier than order individual dishes. And waitress lies to you that food is already making when we want to switch the dishes. End up waiting for another 20min with no food, when we tell them to bring the food, they said food is in the queue to be prepare; then why not let us change the dishes in the beginning.Shady business and i wont be coming back.

Saw this place on Instagram so brother and i tried it out. We are definitely coming back. The salt and pepper squid, black pepper and butter fried softshell crabs were so good! We also shared the hu tieu thap cam...pan fried noodles with beef, chicken and seafood in a brown gravy. It was all delicious!!!

The food is just okay. Nothing special here. The duck is NOT worth the money. Bland fried rice.

Food: Mixed ratings on food...GOOD-fried tofu, crispy sole fish, fried pork chops, stir fried snow pea leavesOK-flat rice noodle w/seafood, Chinese broccoli (get the oyster sauce on the side to control saltiness)MEH-general tso's chicken (not crispy), Hong Kong shrimp (too sweet and tiny shrimp)Service: Food came out quickly and servers were goodAtmosphere: interior was recently renovated for a nice fresh look; private dining rooms are also available upon request2 visits within a week: great prices on family-style week day lunch specials (approx. $8 and up per dish), buy 4 dishes and the 5th dish is free; Dinner menu although more expensive as expected than lunch, dinner menu has far more options to satisfy any Asian cuisine cravings along with delicious looking fresh live seafood offerings with some at market price.

I dined here last Sunday, around 4 pm. The restaurant was pretty much empty. While the food was delicious, the service left much to be desired. Throughout the meal, there was a noticeable absence of waitstaff, making it necessary to repeatedly call them over for assistance. It was so inconvenient. The staffs didn't deserve the tip that they charged in my bill. Very disappointed.

This is my first time here. There was enough good things here for me to come back.1. Hot and sour soup was quite good. It’s a different recipe but I enjoyed it.2. Fried pig intestines wasn’t bad and tasted better with the sauce. But this dish was more for my mom than me.3. Lobster was tasty and had good flavors.4. Ong choy was spot on.5. Peking Duck was disappointing. If prepared properly it would be thin slices that fit the Bao and makes it easy to eat. Instead the meat was cut into thick slices. The also gave us the carcass, which is typically used as a base for soup or the carcass meat is stripped and stir fried with bean sprouts. I don’t feel like this was prepared properly.6. Sweet and sour pork was good.7. Fried tofu with broccoli was good as well.Overall there were enough good things here to come back. I just won’t order the Peking duck again.

The Walkers Group's lunch debut at Hai Cang Harbor in Bellaire wasn't just about celebrating a birthday; it was a craving for good food, good company, and a neighborhood finding its groove. After 15 years in the area, watching Ai Hoa Marketplace blossom with new restaurants, we finally took a chance on Hai Cang. And oh boy, did we hit the jackpot! From the piping hot fish and crab soup that warmed our souls to the crispy chow mein that danced on our tongues, every dish was a symphony of flavors. The chicken lettuce wraps were a refreshing burst of green, the salt and pepper tofu and pork ribs a savory duet, and the evergreen snowpack leaves a vibrant reminder of spring. And who could forget the Mongolian beef, a classic done right, tender and flavorful. But beyond the culinary delights, it was the atmosphere that truly made the lunch special. Laughter filled the air as we shared stories and birthday wishes, the clinking of plates and silverware a backdrop to our camaraderie. The friendly service added a touch of warmth, making us feel like we were dining amongst friends.Leaving Hai Cang, we felt not just full of delicious food, but also full of joy and appreciation. It was a reminder that sometimes, the best things in life are found right under our noses, waiting to be discovered. So, if you're ever in Bellaire, don't hesitate to give Hai Cang a try. You might just find yourself writing your own love letter to this hidden gem.
