Some of the best sushi in Houston! The seating is not only too close to your neighbors, but also terribly uncomfortable! The seats are hard, sharp edged, and poorly distanced from foot rests. Would be better if standing! Love the sushi!

Handies was a very pleasant surprise! The handrolls are amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed everything that we tried. The service was absolutely super. I did not expect the only service to be at the bar, so since I am 80+, I was not real comfortable on a bar stool - but that is a problem that most people will not have. : ) Yes, I will return because the food is VERY good!

I've been a regular at this location. I used to love the place but I was quite amazed how uncomfortable they made during our last visit. I know you are allowed atleast 90 mins at any chef's table. But Within 30 mins ...the manager, chef, waiter all of them started asking us over and over and over “are u ready to tap out” ! They asked us soo many times, that we decided we are not coming back to this location. We come here because of the amazing food but service is as important to us. 1-2 times asking us ...understandable. But 10+ times!!!!!! Yes we started counting. If you don't want people to come eat and enjoy their meal with conversation, maybe put a sign or a warning under the reservation. Very disappointed.

The stools are very uncomfortable, especially for anyone under 5'2”. There is no where to rest your legs underneath you or in front of you. A bar would be helpful on the stool or on the bar itself.

I discovered Handies a while ago, and now I’m a regular. I love everything about this place—simple, delicious, personal, and chill. And did I mention delicious? I’ve honestly stopped going to other fancy sushi spots because this one does it all for me. The fish is incredibly fresh, the food is healthy, and the prices are more than fair. I basically inhale my meal every time. I’ve brought all my friends here, and they all loved it! Handies is perfect for a casual date or a fun night out with friends. I’m a forever fan!
