Hand roles are great. Bento boxes for takeout are great but be careful ordering cold rolls in addition to the hot bento boxes as they will keep them packed in the same to go bag

My favorite is the Ocean Trout on the menu. The gyoza is good as well. You usually can't go wrong with the specials on the board. They change every few weeks. It's a small but relaxed atmosphere. Went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch.

I sent this email to Mandy the manger for this restaurant 6 days ago and have yet to receive a response. Had to get my car detailed because of the following issue and I can’t even get an email back from this establishment’s management.

Hope you're well. Not entirely sure if you've been made aware of the miso soup incident at your heights location today but I'll explain it briefly just in case.
I purchased 3 miso soups to go and was handed a stapled brown paper bag with all three soups inside when I came to pick up. Didn't think twice about it, paid (your staff is next level nice by the way) and left. I sat the bag on my front seat and drove to Kroger where I spent a total of 20 minutes. When I arrived home I lifted the paper bag off the seat and realized it was leaking pretty badly. The bottom of the bag was about to fall out and, obviously, my seat was drenched in miso soup. It leaked all over the center console and onto the floor as I lifted it to head out of my truck. I called the restaurant and everyone was very nice, apologetic and the manager even offered to comp the soup and make me 3 more for pick up which I greatly appreciate. I picked up the soup and went on my way.
Here is the issue with all of this. My truck now smells like a bowl of miso soup and since I have leather seats with cooling and heating, the soup seeped through all the tiny holes in the seats which means I will have to get my car detailed to get the smell out.
I wouldn't have brought this up except that I was not told by anyone in the process that the soups were in paper cups and that they had to sit up right carefully or they would spill due to the holes on the lid. Had I known that, I would have placed the bag on my truck's rubber mats.
How can we resolve this so I don't have to come out of pocket with however much it costs me to get the smell out of my truck?

Great sushi spot! We enjoyed eating at the bar, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere (we weren’t rushed from our seats with the bill which happens often in the US)and tasty food. Highlights were the tofu skewer special and spicy tuna hand roll
Food was good but they made a mistake and double billed me and were supposed to void the additional transaction on the spot but didn’t. I tried calling and emailing the manager on several attempts and they never bothered getting back to me. Very poor management because of that.

There is truly no where in Houston I love more than Hando. I come here twice a month because the food, cocktails, and atmosphere are so great. I could not recommend this place enough for fresh sushi and delicious cocktails.

I've been wanting to try Hando for some time now. But Service and food was a mure disappointment to me unfortunately compared to Handies. I tried a couple handrolls that were filled with too much rice so thats all I tasted. Lacked in flavor for me. Also tried 3 different skewers.. beef was chewy I spat out most of it, mussels and scallop I liked and 2 sashimis. I wanted to try more things but no one asked me if I needed anything else so I had to ask the host for the check. Service I felt was super rushed and I came at 4:30 on a Sat, it wasn't busy. Sorry I won't be coming back, I'm a big foodie and did not enjoy my experience!
