Very chill vibes. Mood lighting, music isn’t too loud nor too electronic. Nice date night spot. I took advantage of their 3-6pm HH, $5 apps and $7 cocktails. Recommend their curry croquets and calamari. Also got a hand roll set. I like the price point of this place, high quality but affordable enough to go on a more casual stint rather than limited to special occasions. Service very attentive and friendly, I came by myself and felt taken care of. There’s a separate parking lot just on the lot over if the main lot is full.

The sushi is so good. The blue crab roll is one of my favorite hand rolls I’ve ever had. You can wait in the bar next door for drinks while your table is ready. I just wish the stools had backs because the seating is very uncomfortable.

This is my go to sushi spot when I want clean good tasting sushi. It is also my takeout favorite. You cannot beat their 3 sushi roll deal.My only complaint is that the parking is really tight and the dining area is not big, but they do a very good job of making sure they take care of you.

There are only couple hand roll places in Houston with this kind a concept. I call it “casual omakase”. But Hando stands out not just because of that, but because they use actual wasabi (and not a horseradish mix, like 95% of Japanese places in US).Delicious hand rolls - especially spicy tuna was fire! From skewers, I would recommend beef. This restaurant is meant for couples or max party of 3 due to the counter layout.Pro tip: they have a cozy, stylish bar/speakeasy behind a door. Open every day
