Been going to Happy Lamb for just about 11 years now. I’ve seen them change staff, menu, rebranding but the soup base has remained consistent . It’s not the cleanest restaurant BUT I’m here for their spicy broth! What makes a good hotpot to me is the soup base and theirs is rich in flavor with just the right amount of spicy.
This is our go-to all-you-can-eat hot pot place in Houston. We always get the dual bone broth, with and without the spicy kick. The beef, lamb, and seafood are good quality. Plus, they have varieties of veggies, tofu, and sides. They also had a 15% discount on weekdays from 8 to 10 PM. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. The place can be very busy Friday nights and weekends. Call to book if you have a large group.
Very filling and delicious, the hostess was very helpful due to this being our first time at a hot pot restaurant. The choices was endless and so filling would definitely recommend at least once to mark it off your bucket list. An added plus is they did accommodate people who can't use chopsticks was a very added bonus.
