A coworker took me here for lunch, and the pupusas were fantastic! I ended up bringing my husband back to try them, and they were just as good the second time around! Recommend for anyone looking for pupusas!

I ordered the grill chicken plate. The chicken tasted old, dry and seemed a bit under cooked. It left a nasty after taste in my mouth. The salad that comes on the plate was wilted and even the cucumbers looked soggy and old. Never again will I eat at this place. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I love the shrimp cream soup. It's my favorite. I've tried other Salvadoran spots and it's never the same. The service isn't the best (they are not coming back to refill your water) but it's forgiven cause of the food. I've been coming here for years even through I no longer live nearby. It's worth the drive.

We're on a mission to try more local places in the area. The Hawallano has been on our list for a while. My dining partner was craving the sopa de gallina. You get lots of veggies, a serving of rice, and 1/4 grilled chicken. Very filling & very tasty. I love pupusas, and wanted to try other items like the fried plantains and the chicken tomal. My favorite was the chicken tomal. Lots of flavor and moist texture. The fried plantains were ok. Not much to mess up and served with mayonesa. Now the pupusas were extremely hot when they came out. My favorite was the bean and cheese. My least favorite was the plain cheese, just great tasting. Although the pupusas were not very crispy. Service was good and attentive. My only complaint is the smell of the dining room, there is a heavy smell of grilled chicken. While it smells delicious, it is overwhelming.

DISGUSTING! Kitchen Smoke in the dining area I told the manager to fix it but he game me a lame excuse . My aye were ichi for the smoke How has Honestly it's not even worth it to eat while the dust and black mold falls on you and loved ones. They really need to shut this place down and power wash the soul back into this place. I would be EMBARRASSED as the owner of this place to have black mold and the layers of dust be all over my restaurant.
