The trio of dips and crudite were great. The chicken souvlaki gyro was average.

Very average spot if not even below average. Food is prepared without passion although it sounds great in menu. Wine list is solid, but servers have to serious education for working in restaurants if this place want to get customers back. Atmosphere fine, spot amazing.

The worst part of the experience was the food. I ordered octopus and I specifically said to make sure it’s tender. It was not tender, it was chewy and cold in temperature. I expressed my frustration and they didn’t even offer to take it off the check. The service was very slow and I had to ge inside to get their attention that there are actually people sitting outside. I don’t think I would want to come back again.

Nice ambiance and environment, people are friendly and very attentive. This is a wonderful place to take a date. However, the food is not delicious and certainly not worthy of the price. I had the spanakopita and part of it was cold as if it were frozen and not thoroughly cooked. I then had the grilled chicken which was cooked just right, very juicy but too salty and totally ruined it. For this price I would expect better. Very nice nook though in the heart of rice village. However I do believe Greek cuisine could do a lot better.

While the food was good, it wasn't somewhere where we said we have to come back to. There were a couple of things apart from the food that didn't provide the best experience. Parking is limited in this area and street parking is hard to find, so we called and asked where to park and they said the street. After searching we found a parking garage a block down that was spacious and is free for the first 2 hours. My wife ordered a drink that never came and was never followed up on. I feel like the portion sizes compared to the pricing is inconsistent. For instance my vegetable plate was $21 and was basically half a plate while my wife's gyro sandwich had more food and was cheaper. The last item is they charge a fee to use credit/debit cards. At this point, cards are the cost of doing business, especially if customers are paying a premium on the food, just build it into the cost. Don't nickel and dime them.
First time here , I used to frequent the older location in the heights in which I immediately shared with Stephanie behind the bar , I had learned right then that she also worked at the older location when it was still open I expressed to her how excited I was that the menu was the same and that they had one of my FAVORITE dishes ( the baked feta ) and how I literally had dinner plans later and was only in for a glass of wine, however for nostalgic reasons, I decided to go ahead and order the dish . Baked feta comes out , I notice it looks like a bowl of tomato soup ?but decided to try it anyway ….. there were three chunks of feta in it …. ( NOT the same dish we both literally just talked about ) the presentation alone was entirely different . I chose not to complain , but then Stephanie asks me how it is and I tell her “ so I expressed to her , It’s literally nothing like how the other location made it in which she explained “ yeah we have a different chef filling in this week and this is how he makes it “ so why would I not have been warned ahead that it’s something way different ?!? Anyways I finished my glass of wine and closed out. Found it shitty after explaining this isn’t what i hoped for to see it fully charged to my bill. Although the wine was great , it wasn’t worth $35 ?.

We ate mid afternoon prior to seeing a performance at one of the local clubs. Food was outstanding. The trio of dips with the olive's (warning, lots of lemon if you don't like sour) were exceptional. We ordered the Gyro platter and the baked feta for our shared mains. We still had food to take home. The wine selection was great!
Helen has gone downhill, and you can tell. Restaurant basically empty at 6:30 on a Friday night. Basically one waitress working, very slow, acted like she didn't really care. Food was good, but it feels like they don't care.
Took a long time to get my salad

We were regulars at the restaurant but stopped going as the menu did not change. The menu was very similar to our previous visits, but as we had been absent for so long, it was interesting. The Greek Salad was ok and the fish special excellent. The wine list has a good range of options at reasonable prices. The restaurant has been modernized since our last visit and was more comfortable and inviting. The service was friendly. We enjoyed our evening and will return.
The restaurant has a pleasant store front and inside space. There was person working as the hostess and the server who did not understand the restaurant business. My friend ordered a chicken dish that he enjoyed. I ordered a chicken gyro sandwich with the sauce on the side. The server brought my sandwich about 8 minutes before my friend's food. I took one bite into the chicken gyro and it was grissel and fatty. The second and third bites were the same so I told the server that I could not eat this. She asked me if I wanted something to replace it and I did. I asked for a chicken breast like my friend ordered so I could chop it up and put it on my sandwich. This required. another 20 minute wait and I was quite hungry by then. The restaurant was not busy and when the server disappeared it crossed my mind that she just might be cooking it herself. I was not satisfied with the food or the service. The server charged me for the chicken to replace the awful chicken that came with the sandwich which was unacceptable and highly unedible. I would not go here again and nor would I recommend it to others as it was very slow service and no customer service whatsoever. The one bright spot: delicious tzatziki sauce!
