Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

I was looking for an opportunity to try some seafood boil and I found Hook and Reel Cajun Seafood. The restaurant was pretty quiet during our visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. I had the small boil with lobster tail and shrimp with garlic butter and medium spice. It was a perfect combination for this boil. I really enjoyed the plate and service.

Over all pretty good. The medium heat have a nice spice to it compared to other places where I’ve had to try the hottest to get any type of heat. The sauce is good and the shrimp where cooked nice, my lobster tail was a little over cooked.Over all I would eat here again.

Better than BB’s Texas New Orleans. That place has disappointed me so many times. I’m glad I found this place. The shrimp and snow crab are delicious. The quality and the size is really good. My cocktail was delicious. The service was great, our waiter kept checking up on us. Overall satisfied and happy with this place.

The crawfish is pretty good! I tried the seasoned garlic butter in mild and it came with 3 potatoes and 1 corn. The seasoning is definitely on the strong salty savory side. The crawfish juice is very good. They give lemons in their water!

The service is always great here this is my third time coming here and I love the food especially the snow crabs I definitely recommend everybody to come here and give it a chance.

I came here after a super long day at the office . The manger June was AWESOME !!!!!!! He guided me through the menu . I ended up getting the catfish basket and wow wow wow it was so good !!! Management was GREAT and his staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and well trained ! I sent my husband in to pick us up 3 pounds a few days later and once I seen how good it was I had to write a review ! Y’all check them out !

Had an awesome time at Hook and Reel at Eldridge. I enjoyed every bit of it. The food was good, drinks was awesome and the staff, esp RACHAEL were all great. I highly recommend it to everyone to go and have a great time there. Thanks again to the Mgr, staff and RACHEAL especially for making my visit worth the while.

Its the middle of the day, and hardly anyone is in here.Ive been sitting here for about 30 minutes...it took about 20 minutes after I was seated to even get a waitress to notice me and get a drink (for which I was given no straw). Still havent been able to order my food yet. Waitress has decided to help a group who came in about 10 or 15 minutes after me, first. Terrible service.Edit: Im editing this review because I went back to try my luck again today, and I had an excellent experience. Very good food, and great service this time. Laid back but lively atmosphere and my waitress was super cool. The crab legs here tasted very fresh and delicious. I guess anyplace can have an off day once in a while.

Food was good! They have multiple locations including one opening in the Bronx. Definitely excited to have one close to home.

Food was delicious. Everything was made fresh and quickly. We really enjoyed the house blend flavor for the seafood boil$5 margaritas were strong and goodWe will definitely be back! Maybe tomorrow!

The second time I went to this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back. The food is absolutely amazing because it is fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice design. The manager is very nice and John made a wonderful drink. Moreover, the price is reasonable. This restaurant goes beyond and above my expectations. I do highly recommend eating here.

Loved the food and drink i felt like my corn was a bit hard other than that no complaints

My hubby and I ate here a few backs and after a few margaritas I totally forgot to leave a review lol and BTW the margaritas are Awesome! ? and the food was really good. We will definitely be back for more!!

Love this place. Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the crab legs is absolutely top notch. One of the few seafood places with a full bar as well. I will definitely be back
