Have been going to hot pot city for over a decade and this is still one of our favorite hot pots in Houston.

Hot Pot City is buffet style meaning you pick your soup base. Then order any meat you want including various skewers and serve yourself veggies and extras from a buffet line.

This place is really good. With so much to choose from. It's AYCE even options for kids. The staff is extremely friendly and on top of everything. It's a nice spot for solo dining, cute little date or family dinner outing. 10/10 plus u get to cook at your table.... Who wouldn't love that idea ??

Came with my wife and my son for lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good and fresh. Worth the price. Will definitely come back

Tried for first time bc my fav shabu place closed. But let me tell yall! I NOW LOVE THIS PLACE BETTER! And it’s my number 1 now. reasonable price, line foods were amazing, service was exceptional!, have seafood too! We love spicy broth one, omg we want to visit again so bad but sadly they only open at night now on weekends (summer hours) hope to visit again so soon!!!

the kids and I like this place. they have a wide variety of everything. literally something for everyone even kids. the staff was very friendly and kept everything clean and replenished. the house special spicy and Mongolian base is really good.

I love this hot pot place! Service was a bit slow, we waited a solid 10 minutes before some attended to us. People who sat after us were attended to before us.

Soup bases are great (my favorite is the spicy one!) and it’s all you can eat! Lots of choices to choose from. Overall, a fairly priced and nice experience!

The concept is absolutely genius. The burners (stovetop) are on the tabletop in every booth, that can seat up to six people. Just think of a Chinese buffet with cooking options. They have a variety of raw meats & foods with other entree options. The only complaint, if any, is the ingredients of the boil that they bring you. They put in baby vegetables & nuts. It has a distinct flavor but the add ins throws it off. I had to try to pick all the extra ingredients out to make it just noodles, broth & meat. That’s just me though. But ENJOY$

There's no reason there shouldn't be a line out the door for this hotpot spot. Its just as good if not better than shabuzone.
Sidenote: GET THE WINGS! MY GOD, THEY ARE GOOD. I'd be willing to drive 45 minutes back to this spot for the wings alone.
