I've been going to House of Coffee since I was a small child and they sincerely haven't lost a step. The coffee selection is tremendous, from my favorite go-to essential's to the small batch one-offs that rotate into their inventory, absolutely fantastic variety of coffee bean selection the world over to choose from. From stopping in to see what their hot or cold-brew coffees of the day is, to purchasing coffee beans for your specific machine at home, Mel and the staff are incredibly knowledge and so kind to assist you through your selection. Highly recommend!

This is the only day I am in the area, and well it just made my day ☕ Melissa, Liz, Joseph are very knowledgeable and did not mind answering my so many questions. Love love love this place! My boyfriend and his family have been coming here for over 30 years and he introduced me to it. I’ve not once had bad coffee beans from here. They’re selection is out of this world good and I’ve introduced some good friends here and they’ve all said the same. It’s a neighborhood staple and we love going in to see Mel and now Sophie. Customer service is a 10/10 and so is everything else.

I love House of Coffee Beans! I’ve been getting whole beans here since 2011. Costa Rica, Guatemala Huehuetenago, and Tanzania are some of the best single origin coffees in my opinion but you can’t go wrong. Also if you like flavored coffees this might be the best place you could possibly go. I’m not usually into flavored coffees but theirs are great and there are many different flavors. You can also sample whatever they have brewed on any given day or buy a cup to go. They are a Houston staple for a reason.

Great coffee store, recently bought a French press and grinder to make my own coffee at home. Had no idea what I was looking for when it comes to coffee beans. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly, they helped me find 2 bags that are both very good and cheaper than I was expecting. Will definitely go back for more when I need it!
