Food is amazing! Tuna melts in your mouth and the curry for the chicken katsu is so flavorful! We were able to get a table for two without a reservation on Friday evening, but reservations are recommended.

Japanese here. This place reminds me of a real izakaya in Japan. I thought just ordered few small appetizers but ended up ordering bunch of foods because so good.
Taking wasabi (octopus wasabi) and battera are highly recommended if you like raw fish.
Staffs are so nice and made me more orders.

Worst attitude so called “general manager” ever, yes I’m not coming back this restaurant again because of the general manager, her name is Mia or similar. Everything is good but her behaviors. She Treats customers and employees with no manners. She is also so oppressive towards waiters working in there they all look depressed 😔 and scared to talk even.

It's a cool place with a good bite to eat. We got the katsu curry and some sushi. Wasn't food to write home about but not bad either. Really liked the atmosphere but the parking was a bit rough so we ended up walking a ways. Plan to visit again to try more of the dishes.

So I’m laying in bed rn and I’m experiencing some insomnia. I reflected as to why that may be the case. I have learned that it is because I miss the meal I had here and my tummy hasn’t been blessed with it in over a week now. A perfectly crisp and light panko chicken cutlet next to a side of rice with the perfect amount of sogginess in it. I’m not a big eater but lemme tell you it was all gone when I finished. I even ate the salad too and vegetables usually take a backseat in my life but not at izakaya wa. However, I do wish I could’ve got a side of edamame instead of the cucumber salad but it’s ok, I’ll be back for the cutlet soon. And u should too.

The food was decent, but due to the number of people versus the number of servers available, there was a longer wait to request additional items. The waiter was nice and welcoming, but not as attentive as I am used to at other places.

Love this place! Keisha was really nice and helpful, definitely coming again
I came here just to eat sub par sushi and get my car broken into. The sushi wasn’t anything special. It was on the more expensive side and portions were small. They charge for parking and I parked in the front my car was broken into and this seems to be a regular occurrence because they had no reaction and weren’t any help.
