I just ordered food today for the first time and I loved it! I'm from STL and we are verrrry picky about our Chinese food... the first time I had Chinese food in Houston... I gave my food to a homeless man... but this food right here!!!! Makes me feel like I'm home. Only issue was that there were no crab in the crab puffs, but they do taste just like the crab ragoon ( how STL says crab puffs). They could definitely work on the customer service. I spent $22 and got a bunch of food for the value. I will certainly return!
This is a great local Chinese restaurant. Had the Kong Pao Chicken with fried rice. Delicious.
JJ's has great food and is run by fun people. I always get the seafood dishes but I'm sure everything is good.
Prices are a bit high
Service was bad, no direction on how things operate as a first time goer. You have order meal at the front before seating down, no one comes to you at the table. Species, utensils, and container of water; you have to get yourself (wasnโt offered) was placed in a hidden section away from the tables. Wasn't given any introduction and direction until i discovered it by the time i was done eating. Meal was sooooo dry and chicken dumplings were not pleasant ๐ Lack of hospitality, I will recommend going another place

Forgot to take a picture of my food to post. I ordered the chicken and vegetables, lunch special and opted for a spring roll and egg drop soup. The food tasted terrible and tasted like they cooked everything in the same old pot in pan for years no flavor. It was gross. The egg drop soup was gross.. I asked for the crispy chips that usually come with The soups, but I was then told they charge a dollar a bag. I thought that was odd because every time I eat at a Chinese restaurant the crispy chips always come with the soup. Plus, the service was terrible. A waste of $15 do not waste your time here.

I had an order to go, good food. The portion size could be better. Most similar restaurants give you more.

Excellent Chinese food, the eggplant ๐ dishes are my favorite.
There is a sit down dining room with self service, so there is no tipping.
You will not be interrupted by the staff while you are dining.
This is a very quiet dining room.

General chicken and orange chicken are the worst Chinese food I ever had. The meat is dry inside, the source is too spicy with un-natural ingredients (taste).
