Amazing Food and Great Service! We had a good experience at Kape Tayo. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit enjoyable.
Great choice for sunday lunch buffet. Must try ube sansrival, pairs well with brewed coffee.

Business with a mission! The owners are hands on and are very service oriented. The place has a very homey atmosphere. The coffee and Sans Rival are delicious and a must try. Will be back to try their freshly cooked Filipino dishes. 💞
This was our first time here. The foods were delicious! We love the Bicol express, fried chicken, dinuguan, pancit, kaldereta at marami pang iba. The hospitality is next to none. The buffet area is also very clean. Definitely we will be back! I highly recommend this place!
I am an Uber lover, this is a good place to visit in Houston. Really recommend, boss is nice and friendly as well. I will come and visit again for sure.

Very disorganized... we went to their Kape Tayo Idol karaoke event. I went into the food line with my wife and 4 kids, and I got 3 plates of food. There was nobody to take payment, but the owner served the food anyway and said to pay later.
The building had no A/C and inadequate seating, so I stepped outside with my newborn during the event to get some fresh air. The owner was outside and said I couldn't leave until I pay. I told him I wasn't leaving and just walking around (it should have been obvious since my wife and other 3 kids were still in the building).
My cousin later told me she took care of the food payment.
Later the owner saw me outside again and told me again to go pay, and I told him my cousin took care of it, and I pointed her out to the owner, and he said ok.
At the end of the event, the second it was over, the owner stood up and waved me down from across the room and motioned to me to come and pay. I again told him that my cousin took care of it already.
Then I walked my cousin directly to him to tell him again that the payment has already been made, and he still hassled her for another minute before saying "ok".
I originally wanted to try this place on another day and order other items on the menu, but I'm not coming back after this.

We stopped for a 2 coffee drinks and a cake. The iced coffee drinks tasted good but the young man who made the drinks did not use enough ice. The mango cake was tasty. The guy making the drinks was working by himself and it took awhile but he was apologetic and nice so we didn't mind.
