Went during happy hour for a snack and had been here years ago. I enjoyed it back then as well! Place is cozy and has space. The service was great and quick. Price point is pretty high even with happy hour.Oysters 4/5It was clean and good. I added soy sauce to it.Yellow rose maki roll 5/5Solid but not spicy to me. Love the micro greens incorporated.Salmon tiradito 3/5It had a tang to it but just okay for me, was light.Hamachi chili 5/5My favorite appetizer! There is a little crunch and a little chili, has a good kick. The sauce on the bottom is also good.

I've been here before while visiting from out of state. Service and the restaurant itself are still top notch. Just definitely take time to read the menu, nothing I ordered was bad, but what I ordered wasn't my cup of tea. You can tell the kitchen puts in work to develop a sophisticated menu

I know they didn’t ‘make it’ but damn - the Buddha beer ? my new favorite. Nice sushi spot in a central location. Fresh food, nice presentation and friendly service. Outdoor seating and large indoor bar.

Wow, this placed knocked our socks off!Really great value for the price, quality sushi, intimate ambiance, and the staff were amazing! Daniel and Michael took superb care of us.A couple items to shout out:First, the “hot rock” or “lava rock” section of the menu seemed a little hidden to me at first, but it’s a cool experience where they bring a hot lava rock to the table to cook something (wagyu, scallops, or mushrooms) on. We got the wagyu belly, and it was delicious!Second, there was some type of cake slice (maybe like chocolate coffee ganache crepe cake or something?) that absolutely knocked our socks off. It’s not on the menu, and apparently they’re considering getting rid of it?! Don’t miss this one. It’s incredibly delicious and not too sweet. I don’t usually even like cakes or have desserts like this.Overall, it was an amazing experience celebrating a big milestone for my wife and I, and we’ll definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Where do I start? $200 per person used to get you a meal to remember. Now every restaurant in the heights believes they are this level of restaurant. It's one thing to charge these prices and another thing to deliver the value to substantiate said prices. Omakase was not progressive from light to heavy in terms of flavor profile. Sat at the sushi bar and sushi bar was more attentive to our drinks than the server. Asked the manager if we could split tip on credit card receipt with sushi bar and server and was told no. Top to bottom this is a no for me. On to the next.

Always one of my favorite sushi places! Yellow rose roll is super yummy and my husband loves the wagyu slim. Had the fried rice and shrimp scampi (not sure that's what it is called - shrimp w a butter sauce) for the first time and they were delightful.

Pretty yummy rolls and drinks, but I just wasn’t in the right headspace to fully enjoy the food because I was developing a headache from not eating all day. That’s beside the point, though. The service was excellent. I could flag down anybody for anything, including the manager, and a hostess complimented me on my way out. I would return for a happy hour at the bar.

Lunch at KA was enjoyable. Not sure why I haven't visited this place sooner. Went with Nigiri lunch specials, came with soup and salad. Miso soup was delicious and the salad came with ginger dressing on the side which allows you to add the dressing amount to your liking. Nigiri items were tasty. They did not over rice these items. We will be back for other items we wanted to try...oysters on half shell. By the way, no ramen choices probably due to the fact that there are 2-3 ramen specific restaurants within 1/4 mile of KA.
