About Eat Cake

Eat Cake is a restaurant known for its high-quality, delicious cakes and pastries. Popular items include chocolate chip and chocolate peanut butter cookies, tiramisu, and rich chocolate cake. The red velvet cookie and strawberry and creme cake slice are also favorites. The chocolate with coconut cake and triple chocolate are great choices too, along with the pecan maple cookie and lemon cloud, which tastes like a mix of lemon square and lemon meringue pie. The space is small and quaint, with friendly service and cute decor. Customers also love the fluffy, beautifully designed birthday cakes that taste as good as they look. Many visitors praise the homemade taste of the cakes, noting they are far better than box cakes. The desserts are considered some of the best in Houston, with standout items like classic yellow cake and cookies that are described as the best ever. The red velvet cake is especially delicious, and the marshmallow brownie is highly recommended. Customers often suggest buying multiple items to enjoy later, and some mention that letting the cake sit for a while enhances its flavor. The cookies are a favorite, and while a birthday cake costs around $140, many prefer to buy slices to satisfy their sweet tooth. Overall, Eat Cake offers delightful desserts in a cozy setting, with cakes and cookies that are loved for their homemade taste and beautiful presentation.

So excited to find this spot. Beautiful vintage feel, friendly service, and tasty treats!!
I really like their cookies—they’re so good! I’m not a huge fan of the cakes, but the cookies are definitely worth it. They are a little pricey.
