Came here for a birthday dinner, had an amazing time with the omakase. Jessica at the sushi bar area took great care of us, she went above and beyond. Each suggestion she made was great, thank you again!
All the food was so rich and flavorful. The pork shu mai was so buttery and wonderfully fatty. The king crab sando was so rich with the bechamel sauce and garlic bread like taste. The toro tartar was so good with the mushrooms. The stone mushroom rice was just hearty and warming. All the rolls were so good- we got the sake chili roll and the lobster one. The apple bread pudding was to die for- so so so good
The ingredients used were good quality and server was attentive.
However, the flavor of the dishes and decor/overall ambience of the store were not as good as kata robata. For example, mushroom is really not a good substitute for takuan in wagyu yakimeshi.
