We came on a date night for something new and the authentic Egyptian sampler was a gamble that paid off. Both main dishes were flavorful. The hummus and baba ghanoush were up there with the best we have had. It was the best case scenario when trying something completely out of your comfort zone. More than enough for 2 and 3 would have still gotten full.
This restaurant has a wonderful and low-key atmosphere. They have a variety of seating styles to accommodate those dining alone or in a group. However, the main reason to dine here is the FOOD!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank with yellow rice and salad. Of course I had to end the meal with a french press arabic coffee that was delicious. If you’ve never tried Koshary before you won’t regret it! Kenz makes it very delicious!

I would have given this 5 stars but there were a few hospitality experiences that missed the mark that I would like management to seriously consider:
-Invest in soda dispenser: Americans love this and consider this as a restaurant staple. It’s strange to buy bottles of water and cans here....
