All the items from the Kolache Factory live rent free in my head. I'm always craving many of the delicious food items here, especially in the morning. Every now and then, when I want a treat, I grab stuff from here to eat. Kolache Factory originates from Houston, and is a Texas staple. As a native Texas, kolaches have always been a huge part of my life, so its almost uncanny to believe that people outside of the state aren't familiar with this delicious flaky pastry. You can have them savory or sweet, no place does it like Kolache Factory. The staff is always very friendly, and they have no tables inside or anywhere to sit. This place is set-up for you take your deliciousness, and go! The place always seems very clean, and the staff provide your kolaches quickly with the option to have them heated up. Although there are many sweet/dessert flavors to pick from, I'm a salty/savory guy. So those are always the options I lean on. My favorites are Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, Italian Chicken, Cream Spinach, and Potato Egg and Cheese. Go, if you haven't gone, go! This is the perfect breakfast spot, they close at 2pm. So go quickly.

Kolaches are seriously addictive. I eat these every morning when I'm in Houston. A Kolache is this very soft roll filled with various food items such as Brisket, bacon egg & cheese, chicken enchilda or spinach to name a few. In addition to savory fillings, there are sweet options too like danish or cinnamon twists. Food is baked daily and when any item sells out, you're out of luck until the next day, so be sure to visit early! And when you're asked if you want them warmed, always say yes!There are a lot of locations, but I always go to this one. The kolaches are fresh & delicous, and the ladies behind the counter are friendly & welcoming. This store is located in a small strip mall right next to a Starbucks, so parking can be difficult sometimes as the lot is very small. But, it is a corner location with easy exits onto Memorial or (I think it's) Hwy 6.This food item should definitely be on your list when in Houston. Be sure to stop by for some melt-in-your mouth goodness!

First time stepping into a Kolache Factory. I've had they food in the past but never picked it up myself. I was surprised with the number of options they had available at 6:30am. The staff was friendly. Everything was priced just about you would expect. One thing I did like was I was asked if I wanted them warm. Of course I said "yes please" but then the worked placed my bag in a microwave to warm them up. I understand this is the fastest option but they would have tasted so much better in a toaster oven. Or at least have a few staying warm in an over. The kolache had good flavor but the bread was a little soggy. Not sure if that was from the egg inside or from the microwave.

The Kolaches are good everywhere; the people here are wonderful. I come in grumpy and leave with a smile because their smiles are infectious
They serve cold kolaches!!! I was told it was already hot and fresh but it was cold.. needs better management.
