I’ve tried many of the food items that LaBoucherie offers and my absolute favorite is the fajita meat. A close second choice is the cornbread Stuffed Chicken. A walk around the retail meat section is a cook’s dream! If you enjoy entertaining friends and family, then this is the place you need to visit.The friendly customer service is a plus! I was overwhelmed with the many choices and all of my questions were answered as well as suggestions on preparing the meats. Being a longtime South Louisiana resident, I feel like I am tasting authentic Cajun food when I cook and serve LaBoucherie food to my guests!

Absolutely love this mom and pop specialty meat store. The store is so clean and organized and the employees are always very attentive. We LOVE the chicken sausage and the sweet potato casserole. Always impressed with their steak selection as well. I definitely recommend dropping by LaBoucherrie to complete your shopping list!

Went in, very clean place. Other than that...meh. Its just the usual averege meat market. Prices are about average, not great, not bad. It was my first time in. The lady looked at me and looked away. Two guys came out of the back, I dont even think they knew I was there. I had questions, but I AM OLD SCHOOL (no apologies for it either) so a greeting would have been nice. A "Hi, do you need any help?" Would have been cool. But I just felt like I was bothering them being in their store. So basically, why would I spend money if they do not seem to give a dang I am in their store.I’ll continue driving down to Huffsmith Korville to Smittys where they have more, and I get asked by 3 people if I need help. Just felt like they did not want care that I was there. A simple greeting would have been cool.

Bought a deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. It was burnt and dry as dirt! Worst turkey I have ever eaten.Had a bad experience but was contacted by the owner (their reputation is clearly important) and believe my experience was an anomaly. I intend to give them another try as the turkey was my first.

The turducken roll is fantastic! Right proportions of meat and stuffing, lots of flavors and a good size. We had the jambalaya stuffing and it was delicious. The roll was a good size for 7 people.The service is very good and the shop has a lot of other products.

Wow! Much closer than driving into Louisiana! And so far what we cooked has been great. Stuffed pork chop.....husband & I shared one. We also got TurDuckEn, pizza sausage, Italian sausage, some other kind of spicy sausage, boudin balls and a couple of other things we've yet to try. Plan to bring them on vacation- ready made just drop in air fryer. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some stuff was expensive, others were fairly priced. We plan on going back.

We are from Louisiana. We bought two of your stuffed chickens at Brookshires in Shreveport. We cooked the Boudin stuffed chicken. It was awesome! We are going back to Shreveport to buy several more. The recommendation on cooking time was perfect. Great product!
