The jambalaya is amazing this is a French restaurant but some how taste better than the Cajun jambalaya wish it was not a limited time item

I enjoy la Madeleine’s menu in general. Their salads, soups & sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. This particular location is smaller than most others, but it is part of the lovely River Oaks center. The service was not bad per se, but I didn’t feel they were friendly or welcoming. The cashier spoke low and looked bored. She didn’t greet us really but to take our orders. I could have been at a McDonald’s rather than at this nice upscale sandwich shop to get this type of bland reception. Also, the parking here was not free. Must be the location because I don’t recall ever having to pay for parking at a la Madeleine’s before.
Parking: Parking meters are used at this location requiring a credit card. This is inconvenient.

This La Madeline is cute and cozy. We came here on Sunday morning and had a very nice breakfast! They still put bread out at this location. At the Meyerland La Madeline, you have to ask for the bread.

Service, food and atmosphere has always been outstanding! So unfortunate we now pay to park!
Parking: Unfortunate new pay to park rule.

We think this location beats out the other LaMadeleine locations. Please don’t blame LaMadeleine for the parking situation. That is the landlord’s doing and if you notice it has been installed at all parking along West Gray.

First and last time at this location. Angel took my order and despite telling him what I wanted, he missed items from my order. And over charged me in the process. Then on top of that, it took right at 10 minutes for a croissant and ham to come out. Then when I asked about my order the Asian guy seemed uncaring about expediting. But when he saw his regular customer come through the door, they made vocalizations to alert the team and before the guy could even order, they already had Earl Gray tea and hot water waiting on him. I didn't appreciate witnessing this while my order languished. That's fine, I will not bring my business back.

Simply got a black coffee, omelette, croissant and danish pastry for breakfast. The coffee was better than your average brew, the croissant and danish were great. The omelette was very good, coming out hot and fresh. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. There was nothing negative to say about my experience there

I come here every couple of months when I'm in the area. Tonight I was greeted by a parking sign with a QR code to set up payment for parking in a nearly empty lot. I just backed out and left
Tiny location. The staff was not very friendly, and the vibe was stuffy. The self-serve bread was stale. There is a fee to park here.
