I enjoy la Madeleine’s menu in general. Their salads, soups & sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. This particular location is smaller than most others, but it is part of the lovely River Oaks center. The service was not bad per se, but I didn’t feel they were friendly or welcoming. The cashier spoke low and looked bored. She didn’t greet us really but to take our orders. I could have been at a McDonald’s rather than at this nice upscale sandwich shop...

This La Madeline is cute and cozy. We came here on Sunday morning and had a very nice breakfast! They still put bread out at this location. At the Meyerland La Madeline, you have to ask for the bread.

We think this location beats out the other LaMadeleine locations. Please don’t blame LaMadeleine for the parking situation. That is the landlord’s doing and if you notice it has been installed at all parking along West Gray.
