I love this place. Anytime I get a chance while traveling from Michigan through this area, I'm disappointed in myself if I don't make time to stop at Lafayette Cajun!

The food is amazing! The service and hospitality gives me family vibes! Love it!

I recommend the grilled Red fish Opelousas, topped with shrimp and crawfish in a roasted garlic cream sauce. Delicious 👌

I didn't like the crab cakes they taste frozen. The manager told the other customers you don't like you don't pay. I was told you picked it you pay at least the shimp etouffee was good so I ate that.

It had been years since I had been in Lafayette. However I have been hearing good things about it lately. So, I decided to try it out today.
Sunday before the Church crowd. 🙏
I ordered a shrimp po boy and a bowl of shrimp gumbo to go.
The shrimp poor boy came with french fries, this was not mentioned on the menu. I would have prefer Hush Puppies. $2.00 extra. But that was not offered.
The guy taking my order was kind of like, nonchalant....
